-  "I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be"

'Faith' she heard behind her.

He couldn't for the life of him not be tempted to call after her and just let her go like that. She turned surprised that he had actually followed her from the bakery.

'Hey' she replied with a soft voice, turning her full attention to him. He seemed to want to ask something and Faith waited patiently when he regretted his words 'are you heading home?'.

'I probably should it's going to get dark soon' and he didn't miss a beat asking to give her a ride. He had insisted so much that she couldn't refuse him. Her face must've been priceless when he lead her to his motorcycle, too embarrassed to back out she went along with it. It was black and sleek with a silver strip of detail.

He was looking at her like she was something out of this world.

I think that she knew in that moment that her fate had been sealed, there was no escaping. The moon goddess makes no mistakes after all.

He pulled a strand of her midnight hair back and put the helmet on her, it was her turn to blush. He jumped on and motioned for her to grab on to him tightly, she could trust him. The motorcycle roared to life and soon there were off soaring through the streets with her hair blowing in all directions. His soul was captured by her in that moment, he wanted it to last forever.

This was their moment. Unknowingly to her he took a road that went around town just so that he could spend more time being in her presence, her embrace.

She had instructed him where to go and to drop her off a bit further from her father's house. If her siblings saw, especially her brother she would have some explaining to do. He stopped by a lamppost near so they wouldn't be seen.

'Thank you for the ride' and he smiled at her. 'Can I see you again?' he found the courage to ask, his eyes shining. Being caught of guard she cleared her throat and replied a throaty 'of course'.

'Tonight I will be at the club, I go there with my friends a lot'.

'I don't think that I can come tonight' she thought of her brother's face if she asked him to go again. He would definitely realise that it would be to see him.

His face fell a bit 'oh' and then she said quickly 'maybe another time' and her phone started ringing.

It was he father, she answered telling him she was nearby. 'I need to go' she went on to say, he cut her off 'I hope I can see you again'.

She looked down, pulling one side of her hair behind her ear 'you will' she replied and turned around with a smile on her face.

That night her dreams were intruded by a boy with hair as gold as the sun and light brown eyes that shown in the night. He had lifted his hand to touch her face so softly. She wanted to see him again.

The next day she found herself eating the same Victoria sponge cake again and occasionally staring at the entrance hoping that a certain someone would appear in front of her again.

Her phone rang, it was her best friend André for their normal catch up after a couple of days. She had completely missed the handsome boy she had been waiting to enter, until he was standing in front of her with a coffee taking a seat.

She was chatting away and when she took note of him completely swallowed her tongue said a quick 'call you later' and hang up. 'Hey' she breathed and he beamed.

'I think this is going to be our place'.
