Harri's Return

Harri penned a letter on parchment and sent it to Neville, who has resumed his role as the Herbology professor at Hogwarts. If anyone has expertise in artifacts, it's Neville and his wife, Luna Lovegood. Moreover, being at Hogwarts would help her find the answers she seeks. In her letter, Harri asks Neville to arrange permission for her, her family, and a group of vampires to explore the esteemed halls of Hogwarts in search of answers.

As Harri watched Hedwig soar into the sky, she took a deep breath and began the daunting task of packing for a baby, a teenage boy, and her godfather for their journey across the pond. She texted the Salvatore brothers and the Original siblings, inviting them to assist with her research. Harri believed that being at Hogwarts could help them uncover their true selves and realise they are not the abominations they see themselves as. Additionally, they needed all the help they could get to uncover information about the moonstone and the identity of Katrina Petrovna.

After savouring a delightful dinner of stir-fried vegetables and noodles, Harri gathered Matt and Sirius to share the exciting news—they would be going to Hogwarts. The best part about Hogwarts is its autonomy from the Ministry of Magic, as the Headmaster or Headmistress has complete discretion. This means Sirius is safe for now, and Harri can cast a spell so that Matt can see Hogwarts. While playing with Teddy, Matt bombarded Sirius with questions about Hogwarts. Meanwhile, Harri slipped away to her room to dive into more reading and compile a list of ideas on what to look for in the books.

Across the pond, Hedwig delivered the letter to Neville during breakfast. As she soared through the Great Hall, memories of delivering Harri's first letter from Hagrid, the half-giant, filled her mind. She felt the magic of Hogwarts enveloping her and sensed that Harri's return would be a successful one. Upon receiving the letter, Neville quietly spoke to Minerva McGonagall, the headmistress, to get permission. He was confident that Minerva would agree, but it was a formality since Harri was bringing along a few surprises. After dinner, Neville summoned some house-elves from the kitchen and asked them to prepare three family suites with interconnecting doors near the library. With everything in order, Neville decided to send the confirmation word "Yes" to the galleon Harri carried. This also allowed the galleon to transform into a portkey, activated by Harri's voice—a brilliant invention by the Weasley Twins. This gave Hedwig a chance to rest and recover, knowing her mistress would soon be coming to Hogwarts.

Meanwhile, the invited vampires had already packed for the trip and were waiting for Harri to provide the details. The Salvatore brothers assumed they would be traveling by plane, which was a novel experience for them since planes weren't around for commercial use during their time. The Originals, particularly Elijah, had a hunch that Harri had her own means of transportation. Harri sent a text to the vampires, instructing them to come to her house by 9 a.m. tomorrow, as they would arrive at Hogwarts by 2 p.m.

The next morning at 9 a.m., everyone traveling to Hogwarts was ready. Sirius cast a spell on Matt to allow him to see Hogwarts, emphasizing that no one should ever know about this trip. Harri had already arranged for Matt to have a month's leave from school, citing family reasons. Matt promised he wouldn't breathe a word to anyone and was thrilled to be included in the trip, knowing he could have been left behind. Harri reassured him that he is family, and family sticks together; plus, Teddy would miss him.

As they all held onto the portkey with their shrunken bags, and Sirius holding Teddy, Harri said "Hogwarts" into the portkey. In an instant, the world started spinning. For the vampires and Matt, it was a little nauseating, but for Harri and Sirius, the blood in their veins tingled as they felt Hogwarts welcoming them.

As the world came to a halt, they found themselves standing before the steps of Hogwarts, where Minerva McGonagall, Neville, and Luna awaited them with warm smiles. While they were delighted to see Harri and Sirius, they were uncertain about the rest of the group. However, they trusted that Harri had a good reason for bringing them along.
