Hey guys, I've decided to return to this profile to write again and practice to jumpstart my journalism career.
A lot of people might be confused, how can someone grow out of their gender? I can tell you now it's possible and the best thing that can happen to a young person under the transgender umbrella.
I am NOT transphobic, just let me explain.
The whole idea of being transgender is due to gender dysphoria, where one feels like their gender is the opposite of their birth gender. They hate their private parts, they worry about passing, they're concerned about their height or body hair.
I can say with 100% certainty I experienced this phenomena first hand, and being genderfluid gets the brunt of it.
I would shave to feel feminine, then I would want to feel masculine and want body hair. I would want to wear feminine clothes but then go with a hoodie in case my gender changed mid day.
Many genderfluid people experience this every day, and never lose the sense of dysphoria. And I'm so glad that as I got older the dysphoria faded away and I was able to fully align and be happy with my birth gender.
I realise this might be a bit controversial for obvious reasons, but this is my take on it and I hope you all understand.
