C h a p t e r [14]

[Hunter's POV]

I couldn't help, but groan. "God you're so beautiful." Copeland whispered against my lips. He then proceeded to start kissing my neck. "Holy fuck Copeland." I whispered. Wait no, we have to stop. Before this gets out of hand "Nope nope nope. Stop." I pulled away from Copeland. "What no why?" Copeland pouted.

"Because we have to go back into teaching you to control your thirst and you're definitely not controlling your thirst. We have to go back to school tomorrow. And you have to have this under control." I smirked. "And you're also horny, so that doesn't help the situation as well." I laughed. "Horny? Definitely not. Everything just feels more alive, I feel more alive. Everything I do just feels better now." Copeland said nonchalantly. "I can tell..." I laughed. He just rolled his eyes.

It's been a week since Copeland transitioned into a hybrid and he's been doing really good according to Dad and my uncles. He's been doing really well controlling his thirst. They even went out into the streets of New Orleans for the first time and he did really well being there with a lot of humans.

"We gotta go downstairs and meet with the fam, so come on." I said. "Race you." Copeland vamp sped downstairs. I immediately vamp sped as fast as I could. Of course he beat me to it. "Copeland still won, Hunter." Hope chuckled. "Shut up." I laughed. "So Klaus, Kol, and Elijah what are we doing today?" Copeland asked. "Well today's your ultimate test to see if you really can control your thirst." Klaus said. "And what is it?" Copeland asked curiously. "You'll see." Kol said.

So the ultimate test for Copeland was going to be pretty challenging. Klaus brought a human friend of his and he was gonna make him cut himself slightly and bleed out a bit, and Copeland has to stand in front of him and refrain himself from doing anything.

Everything was set up and now the challenge will begin. Everyone was gathered to watch and see if Copeland could it. Copeland can do it, I know he can.  "Copeland stand right here." My father Klaus points to a certain spot on the floor. Copeland obeys and does what he's told. "You can come out now John." Klaus says and his friend comes out. Copeland immediately gets tense as he can feel that John is most definitely human. "Alright John stand in front of Copeland." Klaus instructs. John does what he is told and stands infront of Copeland, not too close though.

"Cut yourself a bit on your wrist and just let it bleed out John." Klaus hands him a knife. Copeland's starts breathing faster. "What! No wait." Copeland says. "Hey Copeland, you got this, I know you do." I give him a smile. He looks at me and nods at Klaus to continue with the test. John continues and starts cutting himself a bit on his left wrist, immediately blood starts pouring out and dripping into the floor.

Copeland gets even more nervous now as he can smell the blood. "Copeland now look down and look at his wrist and the blood and refrain yourself from attacking him." Klaus says. I know he can do it, come on Copeland.  Copeland slowly starts looking down and his eyes immediately turn yellow and he starts getting veins under his eyes as he sees the blood. "Come on Copeland be strong. Fight your inner demons and don't give into your satisfactions." Hayley says.

Copeland closes his eyes for a few seconds and when he opens them back up, his yellow eyes are gone and his beautiful chocolate eyes are back. The veins under his eyes slowly, but surely finally go away. I smiled so wide, I was so proud. "There you go man, you got this." Uncle Kol says. After a few minutes, it was done. He successfully had done it with any trouble, he even started to talk to John and getting to know him.

"I'm so proud of you Cope." I hugged him. "Cope?" He smiled. "New nickname, not bad huh?" I laughed. "Sure.." Copeland chuckled. "I got a gift for you btw." I smiled. "A gift huh?" Copeland smiled back. "Yeah follow me." I smirked. I vamp sped to my room and he followed behind me. I pointed for him to sit in my bed. "Hunter what are you doing?" Copeland asked confused as to what I was going to do.

I got on top of him and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Giving into our inner demons." I gave him a small smile and pressed my lips into his. At first he was shocked and didn't move, but then he started to move his lips with mine. He slowly layed down on his back and now I was really on top of him. I could tell that he wanted to dominate, but I wasn't gonna let him. I bit his lower lip and he groaned. "Goddamn Hunter." Copeland moaned against my lips.

I think Copeland got tired of me being dominant, cause he turned us around and now he was hovering over me and his necklace was dangling from his neck. God that is so hot. He stared at me for a few seconds. "What?" I whispered. "You're so beautiful. I'm so lucky that I met you." He whispered and looked into my eyes. "Just kiss me." I smiled. He didn't think twice and immediately went for my lips. I wrapped my arms around him. I wanted his shirt off now. I pulled on his shirt to signal him to take it off, he did as I signaled and took off his shirt letting it fall on the ground.

He started giving my small kisses around my face and then proceeded down my neck. "Fuck Cope. Don't stop." I said. "Wasn't planning on it." He responded. I could feel his smirk against my skin. He then puts his hand under my shirt and starts rubbing deep circles on my waist. Out of the nowhere he starts sucking on the lower part of my collarbone. Definitely leaving a mark. "Fuck." I moaned. I flip us over and I was now once again on top of him. I grab his wrist's and pin them down beside his head. I start kissing down his neck and unto his amazing defined abs. I go back to his neck and I start leaving a mark on him as well. "Fuck baby." Copeland groaned very loudly. I accidentally rock my hips on him and he immediately puts his hands on my hips and grips them hard. "No don't go there, I really won't be able to stop then." He harshly whispered. I look down and I see that his eyes have turned yellow and veins under his eyes on full display. I smirked and decided to torture him for a bit. Even though he has a steel grip on my hips, I still start rocking my hips as much as I can. "Shit." Copeland groans and leans his head back in pleasure. I stop and just sit there on top of him. "W-why'd you stop?" Copeland pouts. "You said if I didn't stop, you wouldn't be able to stop. So I stopped for you." I smiled innocently. "You- whatever." Copeland chuckled.

He now sat up and I was still on top of him, holding on to him. "Copeland?" I asked. "Yeah?" He stared at me. "Would you like to be my boyfriend." I asked. "Thought you'd never ask, of course!" He broke into a deep smile.
