Virgil POV Well, this is it. I stared up at the court house for the third time this year. First for dad, then Issac and now Jackson. Geesus my high school senior year has been insane.
But at least, this is Jackson's trail. He's finally been arrested and now we get to find out for how long he'll be rotting in prison. I hope it's years.
Roman slipped his hand into mine and gave it a gentle squeeze. I squeezed his hand back, trying to calm my pounding heart. At least I wasn't as upset as Quinn, who was already having a panic attack.
"Today will be insane," I whispered.
"But it'll be with it," Roman said, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
Everyone was waiting outside since Quinn didn't want to go into the court house. I'm surprised he managed the first two. And is able to go into the hospital as much as we need to.
Damien, Remus and Evan were trying and failing to comfort him. In their defense, it can be extremely hard to calm Quinn when it's a bad episode.
Patton was sitting down on the bench next to where the four were. He had a hand pressed to his chest were the bullet wound was. I don't think he should've been released from the hospital already but he needs to be at the trial and press charges.
