I wake up feeling really happy. Of course it's because of Luke. I had dreams about him all night, I thought about him all night.

Just as Luke dropped me at home, he kissed me again. It was a hard, rough kiss because we wouldn't see each other all night until the morning at school. It felt like forever even though it would only be around 8 hours. He walked me to my door and said he loved me and I said it back. Then he walked off and jumped back in his car. He sat there for a while just staring at me, drinking me in before slowly driving off but looking back at me a couple of times.

I can't wait to get to school and what's even better is I have music. With Luke. Yeah, I'm definitely like those girls that fantasize over little stuff but now... Luke's mine. Not in the creepy way.

"Good morning." I say to my Mum all chirpy after I've walked down stairs.

"What's gotten into you?" She asks, looking at me suspiciously. Obviously she knows somethings up because I'm not a morning person. If anyone wakes me up early, I will go off. I will yell and scream and, I think you get the point.

"Nothing." I say staring off into space, thinking about Luke once again. Now I know why Eureka's always like this; Ash does the same thing to her.

"Oh, I think there is Chiarra. Is there a boy?" She wiggles her eyebrows and I grimace.

"No!" I scream my cheeks turning hot. Stupid cheeks! Why do they have to give me away?!

"Okay." She says, dropping the subject but I can tell she knows something is going on. She will eventually find out but I know she's going to get super mad because she wants me to focus on school and all.

"Bye!" I yell, opening the front door only to find someone waiting on my porch. I'm mid-step and bump into the person standing before me. Before I can fall backwards, he winds his arms around my waist to keep me steady. It's Luke, my Luke.

"Hi." He whispers, holding me close to his chest. I wind my arms around his neck and gently brush my lips to his. The sparks start and then the flame ignites but before I can get ahead of myself I pull away. I don't want my mum to see us, she's already suspicious. I look down to see he's wearing his black skinny jeans with a black singlet saying 'you complete me' but next to the me are two little s'.

"Nice singlet." I say, gesturing to it. I laugh but I don't think he gets the joke.

"I got it because it reminds me that I have you. You complete me, Chiarra." He says looking deep into my eyes. Before I can get lost in them he speaks up. "That sounded creepy didn't it?" He asks nervously, laughing and running a hand through his blonde hair and then massaging his neck.

"No. But Luke... it also says 'You Complete Mess." I reply, so happy he's here but embarrassed for him. He thought it said something else. No wonder he didn't understand why I was laughing just a couple of seconds ago.

His cheeks flush a deep red and he mutters, "I'm an idiot."

"Don't wanna be an American Idiot." I sing, trying to help his embarrassment while changing the subject. I know he loves Green Day and just that song in general. I have to remember to ask him to do a cover of that song with the band; it would be breathtaking.

"You're an amazing girlfriend you know that?" He asks, smiling, clearly forgetting the singlet. "And you have an amazing voice."

"Thanks." I whisper.

"Anyway, I'm here to drive you to school, babe." I love his nicknames for me, they make me shiver when he says them. I lean in to kiss him but my mum chooses this moment to step around the corner and clear her throat.

"Chiarra. Who is this?" She asks, raising a perfectly shaped brow while giving me that Mum look. You know the one that reads Mum knows everything? Trust me when I say she doesn't know everything.

"This is Luke. Luke this is my Mum, Grace."

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Luke says, holding out his hand to shake. She takes it and they both shake, Luke the only one smiling.

Before this situation can get any worse, I speak up, "Ok. Luke's going to drive me to school Mum, so I'll see you tonight." I say, already walking to the door.

"Hold on young lady. Luke, can I have a word with you, please?" She gestures for me to walk out the door so she can speak to Luke alone.

"Bye dad!" I yell. My dad is probably hauled up in the study working but I want to at least acknowledge his presence.

"Bye sweetie." My dad says, suddenly walking down the stairs. "Who's this?" He asks me pointing at Luke making me feel even worse for him. He didn't need the extra pressure, my Mum's enough to deal with. Why did I say goodbye to him?

"My friend, Luke." I cringe, looking at Luke's face only to see he's still wearing that kind expression. I don't even understand how he can keep that look on when he's dealing with my parents. I'll be surprised if he can last under their questions for a minute. And if he busts, he'll walk out of my house and will most likely never speak to me again.

"Chiarra!" My mum half yells, pointing to the door.

I decide to obey, stepping outside and waiting for a couple of minutes. It feels like forever before Luke finally steps out the front door.
