I stood in the closet with Dave, my heart beating so fast he could probably hear it. Fuck Kanaya with her stupid 7 Minutes in Heaven. Yeah, right, she just wanted me and Dave to be alone together, the asshole. 

"Welp, this is awkward." Dave muttered, still looking amazing even in the dim light. He ran his fingers through his hair and looked at the door, not trying to hide the color in the cheeks.

"Why did you kiss me?" I blurted out before I could stop myself.

"Why do you kiss anyone? Because I like you." He said still looking at the door and checking his watch. Dave likes me? 

"Why do you like me?" I asked.

He groaned. "Jeez, what is this; 20 questions? I don't really know, you're cute, you're nice when you want to be and-" he said, turning his head towards me, "you might start to like someone after you've slept with them on occasion." I blushed.

"T-that was just 'cause I-I couldn't sleep, there wasn't any, like, feelings involved..." He smirked at me in a way that said clearly, don't even try it to hide it, idiot.

"Alright, fine, there were no feelings involved, sure. If so, you're gonna have to excuse me for this."

"Excuse you for wh-" I started to say but was cut off when Dave pressed his head up against mine and kissed me for the second time. His chest was pressed right up against mine and I could feel his heartbeat through his shirt. I closed my eyes and kissed him back, moving my hands up to his face. It was over to quick. He moved back though his hands were still around my waist.

"Considering you kissed me back, I'm think there were feelings involved," He said with a smirk. I laughed as Kanaya opened the door with a bang. I froze, my arms still around his neck. 

"I knew it would work," She said with a smirk, "Put two guys in a closet, they'll come out gay."
