Dave closed the bedroom door behind him, yawning as he went. Crush squeezed in after him, meowing loudly.
"Want to sleep with me tonight, buddy?"
Crush meowed again and rubbed against his leg.
"Alright, just for tonight."
He flopped down on his bed and Crush hopped up next to him. He pulled out his phone and flipped through some photos. Crush saw these and meowed sadly whenever a picture of Karkat came up.
"You miss him?"
Crush looked up at him sadly and rubbed his head against him.
"Me too..."
Crush yawned and curled into a ball on Daves lap.
"Alright alright I'm going to bed..."
He shifted onto his side, putting his phone down on the bedside table. He closed his eyes and fell asleep to Crushs heartbeat.
