Nine - Christmas Time

-Be the nubby troll in a festive mood-

According to Rose and Dave, today was Christmas. We had pulled a little tree up and Dave showed me how to decorate it while the girls were out. It brightened the tiny apartment and made everyone in a festive mood. Dave pulled me onto couch and curled up next to me. He had put in a "Christmas movie", which was a movie you only watched around this time. They watched Elf, which was about a displaced human who went back to the human world and believed in Santa Claus. 

Ridiculous. 

After that, Rose and Kanaya had come home so they pulled some brightly colored boxes out from under the tree. I sat with my back against the couch as Kanaya passed me a box.

"Their Called Presents, And They Have Items Inside Them." I pulled the present toward myself and started to rip at the paper. Inside was a small collar with Crush written on the tag. 

"Thanks, Kanaya." I said with a smile. I picked Crush off Dave's lap and slipped the collar around his neck, than sat down on the now vacant spot on Dave's lap, dropping the cat. Dave handed him a present. "Hope you like it," He said sheepishly. 

I reached into the small package and pulled out a small spring of some plant. "Its mistletoe," Dave said with a smile, "And on Earth, you have to kiss under the mistletoe." He grinned and pulled me towards him.
