Alice looked at Adrien and she smiled softly at him, "alright, so now that I have freed you from your torment, I want the Cage of Compulsion. No ifs ands or buts about it. This is a very important artifact we need for our mission..."
"Of course Alice you can take it and keep it, I refuse to have that thing in my house any longer I might get stuck in it again... and then you'll have to deal with Alexander all over again..." Alice nodded her head then looked at Sabin, "Hey Sabin? Doesn't your friend Lucien have teleportation?"
"It isn't really teleportation... It's called flashing and he can do it at will or not depending on how strong his demon's hold is on him..." Sabin explained to Alice and she nodded in understanding, "Alright well is he able to flash to us? If so we need him to come here from whatever mission he is doing and flash the cage back to headquarters..." Alice responded as she looked at the demon harborer, "there's no way we're going to be able to bring this cage out without being caught by the hunters... So take out your phone and contact Lucien, Sabin..."
"Alright, alright... Damn you're pushy all of a sudden..." Alice watched as Sabin took out his phone and started to text Lucien, "there, it's sent he should be here in three, two, one..." just as Sabin finished counting down Lucien appeared in front of Alice and he looked at both of them, "Alright, what is it that you needed...?" Alice only looked at the cage and pointed, "we need to bring that back to headquarters... But if Sabin and I carry it out"
"People will find it suspicious... I understand... But is this THE cage you are positive...?"
"Well considering Alice was stuck in it and was commanded to kill me... Yeah I think so... not to mention the fact that when Alice did get free she stuck her kidnapper in it and commanded him to switch places with his good self..."
"Alright then so it is the cage of compulsion... great I'll flash it to headquarters right now..." Alice watched as Lucien held it and then was gone in that instant before coming back looking at the two of them, "you two need to be back at headquarters pronto...! They're under attack there!" Alice looked at Sabin and then back at Lucien, "then what are we waiting for the team needs us there!" Alice said in an urgent tone sticking her arm out for the keeper of death to grab and he did and in that moment Alice, Sabin, and Lucien were there in the castle. Alice quickly went to the room she shared with Sabin and threw on here clothes she used to wear when she was a hunter putting on her battle mask and tying her long hair up in a tight ponytail she grabbed her weapons and ran outside to protect the castle from more hunters getting in, "alright assholes time for a little fight..." she smirked as she started to fight her katana proving to be her better weapon she couldn't die, not easily anyway, she may be a vampire but she still had her weaknesses.
The fortress was under attack and Kane was doing everything in his power to ensure that Annilise was safe, "Annie, please stay in this room I will be back... I need to help the others..."
"Then let me help too! I can fight...!" he heard Annilise say in a frenzy clearly she sounded like she didn't want him to leave her. However, he put his hand in hers and looked at her with a loving stare, "I don't doubt it, but I want you to stay safe in here... Otherwise Alice will kill me if something happens to you. Trust me I will be back just stay here Annie..." Kane leaned in and gave Annilise a long and passionate kiss before he slowly pulled away from her, "promise me you'll stay here..."
"Alright... I promise... but you better get back as fast as you can..." Kane heard Annilise say before ran off to the heat of the action. The damn fortress was overrun by hunters, he wasn't sure why this happened Torin made sure the signal was interrupted before the ping even got to them so how did this happen. Alice couldn't be a mole could she? Why would she go through the cinematics of cutting and burning her skin to get rid of her hunter mark only to bring them here? They must have had a different tip from someone he didn't know who, but he was positive it wasn't Alice, "alright time to kick some hunter ass..." he said pulling out his weapons of choice his demon angry and full of fuel to protect their maiden.
As Kane fought and killed many hunters he saw Alice and Sabin finally join the fight, "hey nice of you guys to drop in finally!" Kane blocked an attack from an impending hunter and stabbed him in the stomach and the chest ensuring they were dead. Kane smirked hearing Alice's response, "of course wouldn't miss this party for the world! Question is how did they figure out this location?!"
"Maybe the GPS signal actually went through unlike Torin thought!" Kane responded as he was attacking another hunter in his way while Alice and Sabin cut down their own obstacles of hunters, "who knows, right now we have to protect our home!"
"Demmonta, you traitor! How dare you help these demons?! They're responsible for your family, remember?"
"Hate to burst your bubble, but no they weren't, it was another person, not these guys."
"They lied to you Demmonta! Just so they can get you on their side!"
"Galen crossed a line with me! He hurt the woman he swore up and down he loved! That makes him worse than these guys!" Kane froze for just a moment, hearing what Alice just said made his blood boil to an alarming temperature making him want to cut off Galen's head, "Alice what did you say about Galen hurting someone?"
"He swore up and down he loved Annie but would oftentimes abuse her over love her..." That statement only made Kane's own rage much more intimidating, "are you positive...? You're not lying yourself are you ?"
"No, that is one hundred percent correct..." Upon hearing this Kane got a new sense of vigor and he wanted nothing more than to see these hunters dead and to find Galen and make him pay for what he did to the woman he wanted to protect.
The battle continued and Alice and Sabin were working together to cut down their enemies going off of each other as if they were in a dance with one another, "three o'clock Sabin!" Alice warned hoping he heard her in time, which he did as another warning was let out this time from Sabin, "Six o'clock Alice!" The two of them were in a romantic dance accompanied by the sound of metal clashing against each other and screams of pain and anguish, like a grand symphony to them. When the reinforcements died down the two of them were breathing rather fast and heavy looking at each other with smiles on their faces. The vampire went to Sabin and gave him a kiss on his lips before she pulled away. This left Sabin a little taken aback by the kiss, "you didn't have to do that Alice..." this only got a small laugh out of the female, "well I wanted to... So deal with it."
"Why not give me another one... I can't just have one Alice..." Sabin said with a smirk as he leaned in for another kiss. Alice only looked back at Sabin as she sealed the distance with her lips. When they did this two hunters went for the kill, going behind them, this caused the two to pull away before doing their final dance move and killed the two targets and going back into the kiss in one fluid movement, "I love you Alice. There is no other way to say this, but I was ready to give up on love after the love of my life killed herself because of my demon. But you have given me a chance to love again and I don't want to let it slip by me."
Alice only nodded her head as she casted her glance up to his amber like hues, "and you have given me a chance to see that there is more to life than being a hunter... and a vampire. You gave me a chance to actually be myself, which is a relief." She looked at the mask in her hands before looking back up at Sabin, "and I don't want to hide myself anymore... especially around you. I feel like I don't need this mask anymore, because I no longer need to hide my true self around others"
"That is a great idea if you ask me Alice, and I will do everything in my power to never have you question your true self again... Doubt is my demon, not yours." Sabin stated warmly, "now let's clean up this mess we all made."
