Part 9

Coras POV.

i slept near the wall that night, well i didnt sleep i kind of waited growing more tired by the second but i didnt want to give up the thought that they'd make it through the night. i felt my stomach growl as i was sitting there, i tried to shake it off but i skipped lunch and dinner.

i got up and walked over to the kitchen peeking in the firdge i saw a sandwhich in there which had my name on a small piece of paper. i smiled before biting into the food, i made a note in my mind to thank Frypan for the sandwhich.

I walked back to the wall and rested there for the rest of the Night.

some where along in the night id fallen asleep but it didnt seem like it was for long, cause my body still seemed to be shutting down. i moved as soon as id heard the door open, i saw all the gladers around the door. i used the wall to help me up before walking over to the doors, everyone stood there for a couple of minutes before going off to do their jobs.

"whats that?" zart asked and everyone rushed back, 2 strong boys grabbed alby from thomas and Minho rushing him to the homestead. thomas and Minho looked like klunk Newt told them to head over to the Homestead.

Teresa ran up and hugged Thomas, it was cute...seems like thomas felt something for her, but ill just keep that to myself for now. i started to walk over to the kitchen before someone grabbed my hand, i looked up to them and smiled.

"did you stay up all night Cora?" Newt asked i nodded before flashing a smile, He shook his head before he started swinging our arms.

"i wanted to make sure i could hear if they were in trouble....then i wouldnt be hopeful when the doors opened." i spoke looking down as we reached the counter, frypan handed us some apples before we took a seat next to zart and all his mates.

"i think you should get some sleep" Newt spoke taking a bite out of his apple, i shook my head taking a bite out of mine.

"i just need a cold shower to wake me up....infact i just need a shower in general" i smiled before taking another bite looking up to see Newt starring at me smiling. i smiled and looked down to examine my apple.

"your beautiful, you know that right" Newt spoke across the table, i shook my head and he laughed before i looked up to him.

"your the most beautiful girl ever, i must've been the happiest person before the maze cause i dont know how i was surviving without you..." i blushed and looked at him before Zart burst into laughter then the rest of the boys, i hung my head down as they were teasing Newt.

"Newt you loser, of course a girl as preety as Cora knows shes pretty....nice pick-up line though." Zart patted his back before all the boys were soon all surrounding him, i got out of my seat and left the dining area.

i did feel bad for leaving Newt after his confession? but i didnt want the attention on me after they finished picking on Newt. i was trying to find someone to hang with but everyone was in the dinning area but then i saw Gally.

'GALLY!" i yelled and waved to him, he stopped hammering and looked over. once i reached gally he looked really pissed at me.

"what do you want shank?" he said before hammering again, i nodded and held up my hand which had my apple in it.

"i was wondering if you needed any help?" i bit into my apple raising my eyebrows, he stopped and looked at me before shaking his head.

"1st of all shank, your a girl you probably couldnt pick any of this stuff up. 2nd of all if you got injured here Newt would put me in the slammer for days, so No....so buzz off Shank." i huffed before i left biting into my apple and headed back towards the kitchen.

i saw all the boys leaving the area and heading to their work station, i saw Newt leave and i ran over to him. i grabbed his shirt causing all the boys to whistle or 'woooo' i shoo my head before tugging Newt away.

"Newt i need to have a shower right, and there is like 40 boys and 2 girls so can you watch the bathroom while me and teresa get a shower...i mean your in command while alby is going through the changing, pretty please Newt!" i clapped my hands together and took up the praying position. 

Newt sighed and nodded, i grabbed his hand and we made our way over to the homestead. once we got there i ran upstairs and got teresa, she was taking care of thomas but she agreed it was time for a shower before running downstairs and into the bathroom.

"No peeking Newt" she exclaimed before slipping through the door, i walked behind Newt and kissed his cheek. "Thanks Newt"  i slipped into the bathroom behind teresa. Teresa was already undressing so i did the same before we both went into the showers (DIFFERENT ONES) 

"Hey teresa, hows Thomas?" i asked while rinsing the water through my hair, i heard her sigh before she finally responded.

"he told me what happened out there and honestly its a miracle they survived, but apparently they're onto something..." with that i popped my head out and looked in to teresa, she screamed and i laughed before i went to being serious.

"you mean getting out right?" she nodded before i put my head back into mine, Newt then burst in with his eyes shut and a Knife in hand.

"you guys okay, any shank in here?" Newt tried to question us while he shut his eyes, i laughed before i looked to teresa for her to explain.

"im sorry i was just surprised by something, you can leave peeping tom" Newt opened his eyes and turned bright red when i waved to him, nothing was showing of course. Newt soon left the bathroom and i finished up in the shower.

"i wonder if we can get out...i hope we can." i spoke while tying up my boots i looked up as teresa was dressed and heading to the door, i saw her shrug and walk out...i guess she doesnt remember the horrible memories.

i stood up and walked out to see Newt, he was blushing like a looney. i leaned on the wall next to him, he looked up before looking down, i slid my hand into his and intertwined our fingers.

"Newt be mine again?" i asked as I stared out to no where in particular, I could feel Newts stare on my face so i looked up to him. he shook his head and i was a bit taken back before he opened his mouth.

"bloody hell Cora, i was trying to ask you that this morning...but Zart interrupted me...i want you to be mine and i want to be yours...until i die...i swear please just never let me go even if i do something stupid. 'cause i Love you Cora...your all i think about CONSTANTLY! your driving me insane" he leaned and kissed me, i smiled into the kiss before i pulled back and looked at his face.

"ill be yours" i pecked his lips before he lifted me up spinning me around...
