Chapter 52 - Officially Working

"What are you doing with your face? Is this a joke to you?" He stared scarily at Izuku.

"Uh no I guess not." said Izuku nevously still in All Might's voice. Sir grabbed Izuku's face and began critiquing the look saying that All Mights face is different to what he had displayed in his attempt to make sir laugh.

"I don't care for this one bit. You can see yourself out." Sir let go of Izuku's face and started to make his way over to me, his face softening ever so slightly.

"The vinegar river incident." said Izuku. "Are you not aware of it Sir?" I didn't remember it but I was reminded when Izuku told the story of how All Might saved a boy from a river but the boy's quirk was that he could change the properties of water. The water had turned into vinegar and when All Might saved the boy he got some in his eyes making his face look slightly different.

"I know this rescue, although it took place before I teamed up with him and I believe they mentioned it briefly mentioned it on a television special." said Sir. Izuku then geeked out about All Might while Mirio and I went over to Bubble girl and got her out of the tickle machine.

"Mirio, who's that? He's loud." she whimpered.

"He's an underclassman at my school and (Y/N)'s friend." he said. Bubble girl gazed at me with a surprised look.

"Wait, (Y/N), you're finally here to do work studies!" she ran and hugged me. "I'm so happy! I missed you." she sobbed.

"I missed you too Bubbles." I hugged back using the nick name I gave her.

"Interseting, you want to do a work study here because you think doing so will make you stronger." said Nighteye. This was after we had all calmed down but he was still on Izuku first.

"Yes Sir, please let me!" the smol broccoli begged.

"We'd need to draw up a contract-"

"Of course yes! I brought one." yelled Izuku frantically looking for it in his bag. At the same time I also began to look for mine in my bag. I pulled it out and held it patiently in my hands.

"You will not interrupt me while I'm speaking to you." he growled.

"Sorry Sir!" He handed the contract to Nighteye and he glared at it.

"Once I stamp this document you'll officially be contracted with my agency for work study."

"YES SIR!"

"(Y/N) bring your contract over." he said. I glanced at Mirio and he gave me a smile so I went over with my contract in hand. I placed it down in front of him next to Izuku's. Nighteye took out a seal and dramatically lifted his hand up and stamped it. He handed it back to me silently and did a small hand movement signalling for me to go. I went back to Mirio and Bubbles.

"If you want me to stamp yours like that then you have to prove to me that you have what it takes. You will work here a minimum of four months and will be paid wages." he said. "However, your academic responsibilities will likely suffer due to absences you'll rack up. Which means yor classmates will pull ahead of you."

"I understand that but if I worry about what everyone else is doing then I'll never be number 1." explained Izuku. Nighteye then dramatically lifted up the seal in his hand and brought it back down stamping . . . the table?

All the colour drained from Izuku's face.

"Umm. I think you missed." he said weakly.

"Because I am not aporving this." He continued to stamp the table over and over again in front of poor Izuku.
