Chapter 4 - Costumes

The following day, the morning was pretty normal with core subjects like English taught by Present Mic. Then we had lunch were I ate the best white rice I had ever eaten! It really is the best comfort food out there!

After lunch we waited for our next teacher and All Might came suddenly bursting through the door. He explained to us that we were going to do combat training. He pulled out a remote from seemingly nowhere and pushed a button which made some storage spaces pop out the side of a wall followed by him informing us that they contained the hero costumes provided by the school. Hero costumes.

"Get yourself suited up then meet me at training ground beta!" he said. We grabbed our hero costumes and headed on over to get changed.

My costume is a navy blue skin tight suit with thigh high boots that  have heels. The gloves, neck, belt and boots are a nice sky blue. The gloves are able to store and compress the water particles I take in so I don't have to use them right away or take up as much space.

The last thing it has are small tablets decorating the hem of my gloves that are easy to pluck off. When I eat one it is as if I were to drink a whole litre of water. They were specifically made for me. I can hold up to twenty on my costume and only need to take one if I feel as though I'm going to pass out so I shouldn't need to use any today since the exercise only lasts 15 minutes tops. (I drew that myself, ik it's bad but feel free to change the colours around.)

I didn't want to go with a particularly flashy costume because I wouldn't like to be noticed right away if I was stalking someone and I was never too big on the whole "Look at my amazing costume!".

We were all changed and had finally made it to the training ground; as we were walking out of the tunnel and into the light we could hear All Might talking.

"They say that clothes make the pros young ladies and gentlemen and behold you are the proof!" he shouted as we came out in all our glory. "Now, shall we get started, you bunch of newbies!"

All of a sudden I realised that Izuku was missing.

"Hey Ochaco, where's Izuku?" I asked her.

"Now that you mention it, I don't actually know." she turned around and spotted him. "Hey Deku!" she called out to him.

"Uraraka-!"

"Love your costume, not too flashy, ya know." she said to him. "I should've been more specific about what I wanted." I looked over at him and could see him already blushing from underneath his mask at her words and costume. I went up behind Ochaco and whispered into her ear.

"Hey, is he your soulmate?" I asked smirking at her. She jumped at my words as I wiggled my eyebrows at her.

"(Y-Y/N) ssshhh!" she said quickly. "Yes but I kinda wanna keep it on the down low so don't tell anyone okay?" I nodded quickly at her words.

"Sure thing." I said and gave her a thumbs up but then I leaned in closer and say. "I think you guys look really cute together anyway." and she blushed a dark pink. She opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by All Might.

"Now that you're ready, it's time for combat training!"

"Sir." said a voice under a helmet which I recognised as Tenya's. "This is the fake city from the entrance exam. Does that mean that we will be conducting urban battles again?" he asked.

"Not quite!" responded All Might. "I'm going to move you two steps ahead. Most of the villain fights you see on the news take place outside. However, statistically speaking, run ins with the most dastardly evil doers take place indoors!" Oh! I assume we'll be doing the combat training indoors. "For this training exercise you'll be split into teams of good guys and bad guys and fight two on two indoor battles!"

He finally finished explaining the concept of the training exercise and answered everyone questions. He drew names out of two boxes, I was in team B with a boy named Shoto Todoroki who got in through recommendations. (Sorry Shoji)

All Might then drew the first two teams, it was team A as the heros and team D as the villains.

Izuku Midoriya and Ochaco Uraraka as the heros with Tenya Iida and (just found out his full name) Katsuki Bakugo as the villains.

This is gonna be a rough match.

"Everyone else can head to the monitoring room to watch!"

"Yes sir!" everyone replied. I quickly went over to Ochaco and Izuku.

"Good luck you guys." I said and when Izuku turned his back I shot a wink at Ochaco, she just blushed as I walked off giggling.

I finally made it to the monitoring room and since my three friends were currently not in the room I decided to make myself acquainted with a girl named Momo Yaoyorozu. I liked her right off the bat, I thought she was nice and her quirk was really cool as well. I only had a couple of questions about her costume though.

"Alright! Let's begin the indoor combat training!" All Might shouted into the mic. "Team A and team D, your time starts now!" he then turned off the mic and addressed the rest of us. "Pay attention kids, think about what you would do."
