Chapter 39 - Who Is Coming To Save Him?

"So let me get this straight: you're going to get Momo to make you another reciever, track a bad guy and then try and save Bakugo all by yourselves?" said Mina.

"Yeah." Eiji responded.

"The villains who attacked the camp planned to kill some of us." said Shoto. "But, they took Bakugo alive. What we don't know is how long they'll let him live. That's why we're going after him."

"Have the two of you lost your minds?!" yelled Tenya.

"HEY! It's three minds that are actually lost because I'm going too. Whether you like it or not!" I yelled back.

"All of you calm down." said Mezo. "I get how frustrated Kirishima is, how Todoroki feels knowing he couldn't grab Bakugo and how (Y/N) is crushed knowing she couldn't have run faster than she did. I'm upset too." he said sadly. "But we cant let our emotions get the best of us. Right?"

"Umm we should just leave this to All Might." said Yuga shyly. "Mr Aizawa only gave us permission to fight and use quirks at the trainaing camp."

"Aoyama is corrcet." said Fumi. "Though I'm part of the reason we failed so I can't talk."

"You guys!" I pleaded.

"Listen, we're all shocked that Bakugo was taken from us but we have to be rational." said Tsu. "It doesn't matter how noble your intentions are. If you go out there trying to find the bad guy knowing you're breaking the rules then you're acting like villains not heroes."

We all stayed silent atfer that when there was suddenly a knock at the door which startled us all.

"Sorry for interrupting you guys but I need a moment alone with (L/N) and Midoriya." said one of the doctors as he opened the door and came inside. As everyone was leaving Eijiro approached us.

"We talked to Yaoyorozu yesterday, if we're doing this, it's tonight." he said to us quietly. "Look, I know you've got some pretty hardcore injuries so I don't know if you can go. I wanted to invite you guys since you probably feel the worst." he then almost whispered the last bit. "We'll meet in front of the hospital after dark."

After that, he left.

The doctor said that recovery girl had come in to help us heal while we were unconsious so we should be able to move them around just fine. Apparently, if Izuku were to break his bones like that only two or three more times, he wouldn't be able to even move his arms.

He then said we could go home and he gave us a letter. It was from Kota. We went up onto the roof to read it since we were seriously craving some fresh air right now.

We opened it and it read:

Dear Mr Midoriya and Miss (L/N),

I'm sorry I punched you in the balls Mr Midoriya and that I was rude to you even though you only wanted to bring me food, Miss (L/N). Thank you both for saving me even though you just met me. Please get better soon so I can thank you in person, okay.

"Heh, you know what, I really like that kid. I hope we see him again in the future. " I smiled.

My parents had come home from England the day before I woke up. Using the hospital phone becuse mine broke when I was saving Kota, I called the house phone so I could speak to them and Sakura all at once.

"This is the (L/N) residence, who is speaking?" Sakura picked up the phone.

"Hey Sakura . . . I'm alive." I joked.
