Riele's POV

Most of the cast stayed late even though we were discharged for the day. Ciara went home early, I think she may have been a little upset.

I opened my door, finally getting ready to leave when Jace appeared out of his room, two rooms down from mine. He looked at me, his eyes squinted and his head tilted.

"So Riele" he said, emphasizing the 'Riele' part. "What was that whole kissing scene all about?"

"What do you mean?" I asked him, clearly playing dumb.

"Why would only my lines say Ciara and I kissed, but nobody else's does?" Jace asked me

"I don't know, a computer malfunction?" I questioned, trying to sound as believable as possible.

"If there's anybody here that knows how to work a computer, it's you Riele" Jace said "I'm not dumb, so admit it. Why would you do that?"

I sighed in defeat, and tried to figure out how I was going to explain this.

"You said she was cute right?" I asked Jace

"Yeah, but there's a lot of cute girls here" he responded

"Okay but how many of these girls get flowers from you?"

"I only got her those as a warm welcoming. Plus that doesn't even matter, she doesn't know I got her it." Jace said.

"This isn't about what she knows, this is about what I know." I said
"What's your point?" Jace asked

"You're scared." I said
"What?" Jace asked, clearly confused.

"Is it because she's black and you've never been with a black girl before? Are black girls not your type?" I asked

"What does her race have to do with this?" Jace asked

"Not much if you didn't like her. But you do, and you've never dated a black girl" I responded

Jace didn't say anything. He just stared at me, as if he was trying to figure out what I'd say next.

"Hi, I'm Jace and I'm scared of being with a black girl because...well you know...once you go black you can never go back" I said in a dummy voice, taunting him.

"Hi I'm Riele, and I think everyone's business is my business" Jace taunted back

"Hi I'm Jace and I can't even give my crush flowers by myself"

"Hi I'm Riele and I think I'm Sherlock Holmes"

"Hi I'm Jace and I'm afraid of all types of chocolate, including girls"

"Hi I'm Riele and I'm probably in love with Ciara since I can't stop talking about her"

"Hi I'm Jace and I told my crush I kissed her as apart of the script instead of just going along with it"

"Hi I'm Riele and I'm just mad that Jace likes Ciara and not me" Jace said. He immediately gasped after realizing he had just admitted his feelings towards Ciara.

"I knew it!" I yelled, Jace immediately shushed me.

"Like is a strong word, I was just in the moment. She's just a cast mate, that's all she is Riele." Jace said as he locked his dressing room door and headed to the building's exit door.

"But you said you-"
"But I said I don't like her Riele. Why are you on this so much? Just leave it, I will never like Ciara." With that statement, Jace left the building.

Suzy's POV

Like Ciara, I also have a small role in Henry Danger. Due to Ciara and I having that in common, we've become pretty good friends. As I was getting ready to leave my dressing room, I heard a part of Jace and Riele's conversation.

Jace was saying Ciara is just a cast mate to him. Riele seemed to try to say something after, but Jace cut her off and told her that he'd never like Ciara in an aggressive tone. I then heard a door slam shut so I'm assuming Jace left, because Riele didn't seem mad so she wouldn't have slammed the door.

"I have to tell Ciara" I whispered to myself as I slid down against my door.

Ciara's POV

I was putting my hair up and getting ready for bed when my phone rang. I let it ring the first time but then the person called again.

I groaned and checked to see who it was.
"Suzy? She never calls me" I said to myself.

I took a deep breath and picked up the phone.
"Hey Suzy, what's up?" I said as I was holding my phone against my ear with my shoulder. I was still trying to fix up my hair for bed.

"I know you probably don't want to hear this after today, but I heard Riele and Jace talking about you" Suzy said.
I put down my rubber band and and let my hair fall. I grabbed my phone with my opposite hand and put it on speaker.

"What happened? What did they say?" I asked

"Well Jace was saying you're just a cast mate. He was saying he'll never like you, and he seemed mad. He slammed the door when he left the building" Suzy said

I could feel tears welling in my eyes, but I didn't say anything.

"Ciara? You okay?"
"I'll talk to you later, okay?" I said as I hung up. I didn't have the time to hear her response.

I texted Kyla telling her what happened. She told me to just sleep on it and see what happens on set tomorrow. She thinks this is some kind of misunderstanding.

Meanwhile, the group chat was blowing up. I opened it so that I could mute it, when Jace texted asking where I was.

"Where's Ciara? She hasn't said anything in the chat today" he said

I sent the rolling eye emoji and muted the chat

I told Kyla about that as well. She thought it was a "sign". Sure, a sign that I was wasting my time. I thanked Kyla for listening to my little rant and went to bed.

I'm just going to focus on my job. Boys aren't worth my time.
