Ciara POV

I had to let my mom in on the whole plan Kyla, Jace and I devised. If I didn't, she would see my Twitter and probably kill me. She wasn't so thrilled about the idea, but she did want me to gain more publicity, so she let it slide.

Today was the day of the KCA's. My life keeps changing more and more everyday. When Jace and I made those posts, everyone started treating me differently. That point was when I truly became a real celebrity. Even at school, kids go out of their way for me, and hold doors open for me.

Jace and I planned on going to the Kids Choice Awards together because that would make us more believable. We even matched our outfits, I'd be wearing a short blush pink custom made V-neck with a lace back and he'd be wearing a blush pink tux with a black bowtie.

I straightened my hair, and then curled the ends. I put on black heals with beige insides and jewels across my ankles. I assumed Jace would be wearing black dress shoes, velvet because that's his favorite type.

I heard a knock on my door and ran faster than Usain Bolt down stairs. Considering I was in heels, I did pretty good. I opened the door and saw Jace. He was so committed to our matching colors that he even had a blush pink rose for me.

"Awe is that for me?" I asked, sarcastically.

"No, it's for some girl that I think lives around here. She's brown, shorter than me, and has a pretty dope personality" Jace replied sarcastically.

I rolled my eyes then laughed. "Come in" I said as I motioned Jace in.

He came in and looked me up and down then whistled, how cute is he? He pushed my hair back behind my ear and kissed the side of my forehead, then he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me close. So close that I could tell exactly where his cologne was sprayed.

With his other hand, while still holding the flower, he lifted up my chin and we shared a long, romantic kiss on the lips. It was comforting, and it was almost as if it was a fantasy.

"Okay love birds, it's time to go" my mom said coming down the stairs, interrupting us.

"Wait I need to get my purse" I said as I carefully took Jace's arm off of me.

"No worries baby I got it" my mom said as she tossed the purse down. "I figured you cared more about the boy than the purse" my mom joked.

I rolled my eyes while Jace laughed.

The car ride was short surprisingly. My mom took the fastest lane on the highway.

When we arrived, everyone cheered. Jace and I were holding hands and I refused to break contact with the floor. The walk felt like forever. Eventually I took a split second to look at Jace, who seemed to be waving and smiling at fans, so I finally did the same.

We got our seats, and the rest of the Henry Danger cast came in shortly after. They all had dates, even Leslye brought someone. She sat at the end of our row, but every time I kept turning to talk to talk to Riele, I could see her peeking at us from the corner of my eye.

I didn't mind her though, today will not be ruined by her.

Finally we got to the part that we actually came for. After giving awards for athletes, Instagram influencers, and best films of the year, we finally got down to the actors and reoccurring roles.

"And the best reoccurring role goes to...Ciara DesPones!" The announcer yelled.

My eyes were wide. I got up and straightened up my dress a little as I walked down the aisle. I high-fived all the kids behind the rails. In my head I was just hoping they didn't slime me.

"So I didn't really plan a speech" I said, all smiles. "I will say this though: I was a regular kid with a dream. And never in a million years did I think I'd be this far a year ago. It's all about seizing the right opportunity and making good use of it. You guys mean so much to me, and I can't even believe I was voted for this award." I could feel myself getting teary-eyed. "I love you guys more than words could describe, thank you!" I said, holding the blimp in the air.

"Get Jace up there with her!" Someone from the crowd yelled. As soon as they said that, it became a ripple effect.

"Jace! Jace! Jace!" The crowd started chanting.

"Well it looks like the audience wants to get some Jace-Ciara action up here!" The announcer said, I was still standing right next to her.

Jace got up from his seat and walked down the aisle just like I. The kids behind the rails were cheering so loud, you could've gone deaf.

Jace came up and put his arm around me.

"Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" The audience chanted.

I looked at my mom who had her phone out, she nodded her head 'yes', giving me the approval to do so.

And with that, Jace and I shared a passionate kiss on stage.

If this is what chasing danger feels like, I'd run after it any day.
