Jace's POV

Riele's party was a week ago, and it's been a tad bit miserable amongst the cast since. Riele found out that Kyla slept with some kid in the storage closet at her party. Sean and Suzy started dating, and they're obsessed with each other. As for Ciara, she rejected me for the millionth time.

Cooper scheduled a "cast bonding" session at his place for the main cast today. He felt that there was a little bit of animosity amongst us.

Personally, I think it was all Ciara's fault. She decided to bring Kyla to the party. She allowed Suzy to sit right next to Sean. Along with all that, she refuses to just take me back already. Seriously, it's getting aggravating at this point.

We decided to have an Easter egg hunt since Easter was earlier this month. Cooper put us in teams based on who communicated the least with who.

I was on a team with Ciara. I kinda expected it because of all that's happened, but her and I do communicate. Suzy was also on our team, which made a little more sense. Suzy and I barely talk.

"Okay Jace" Cooper said while hauling out a white board. "Write the two teams on the board."

Nervousness ran through my body. When I'm texting it's easy to type, because autocorrect helps me. When I'm talking it doesn't matter. But here, I have to write down words, and I'm worried that I'll embarrass myself.

"Why do I have to do it?" I asked.
"Why not?" Cooper asked. "You're the oldest cast member here. I thought that maybe you'd want to take leadership."

"You're literally just writing down teams" Ciara interrupted. "It's not that hard Norman, just do it."

I sighed and grabbed the marker, then I turned towards the board. I began writing, and everything seemed fine. I was pretty sure that I spelt everything correctly.

"That's not how you spell two" Ciara said.

"Yeah", added Sean. "That's the wrong two."

"Does it matter?" I asked. "It's just a word.

"If it's just a word, then spell it right" Ciara said in an aggressive tone. "It's t-w-o, not t-o-o."

"You know what Ciara?!" I asked in anger, "why don't you write it?" I suggested as I slammed the the marker on the marker tray connected to the board.

"Jace calm down" Riele said. "They were just correcting you".

"Yeah" Ciara added. "It's just a little three letter word."

"I have dyslexia" I said, with tears in my eyes. "I can't spell all that well, and I mix up words with alternate spellings" I finished. Tears were streaming down my face at this point.

"Why didn't you ever tell any of us that?" Ella asked. "You know we love you like family Jace. You can tell us anything."

My arms were folded and I was quiet. Everyone was staring at each other, probably shocked at the news I had just delivered.

"Jace, it's okay" Ciara said.

"Easy for you to say" I said. "You don't have anything wrong with you. You don't even realize how lucky you are."

Ciara's POV

I was a little taken back by what Jace said. I didn't take it personal though, I understand that he was just a little upset.

Everyone was comforting him, but he was still pretty quiet. I didn't say or do anything. Instead, I stayed in my seat, and watched as everyone tried to make Jace feel better.

"Hey, why don't we get the Easter egg hunt started!" I said. Everybody looked at me funny, but I don't blame them. I sounded like an inconsiderate freak right now.

Really, I was just trying to talk to Jace in private. I didn't want everyone around to hear our conversation.

"Yes?" I asked. "We're wasting time here."

"Okay" Cooper said, "the teams are on the board. The eggs are scattered through out the house, in the basement, and in the yard."

Everybody got with there team and started searching.

"Hey" I said to Suzy. "I wanted to talk to Jace for a few minutes. Do you think you could search for some eggs on your own for a little bit?"

A smile spread across Suzy's face. "Take your time Ciara, good luck!"

I walked over to Jace, who was lounging around in the kitchen.

"Hey" I said to Jace. "You okay?"

"Do I look okay to you?" Jace asked me. He looked like a mess. His eyes had bags and his lips were chapped.

"I'm really sorry for talking to you the way I did earlier Jace", I said. "I guess I shouldn't have pushed you that much over a word."

"Yeah, it was pretty uncalled for" Jace said.

"It was, it really was" I said. "Why didn't you ever tell me you had dyslexia?"

"Because" Jace said. "I tried to be perfect for you Ciara. I just wanted you to like me. I thought if you knew I had dyslexia, you'd probably see me differently."

"Oh Jace" I said caressing his hair. "Dyslexia means nothing to me. I would never treat you differently for having it."

"Thanks" Jace said. "But does it matter now? You'll never like me like that ever again."

I felt like Jace was trying to guilt trip me into getting back with him. I kind of missed him, but Jace has hurt me more than once.

"Jace can we just start out small?" I asked. "This is a really hard decision to make and I need time. I just want to be friends for now."

"Okay, I guess I understand" Jace said. "Come on, lets go hunt some eggs" he added, laughing.

I smiled. "Sounds like a plan."
