{Chapter 16}

Y/n POV

'Carl's dead.'

My whole world fell apart around me. I fell to the ground, and began crying profusely. My dad threw down a letter and Negan quickly grabbed me, grabbed the letter, and carried me to the truck. The tears kept on coming and coming, until I passed out.

~Fast forward to the compound~

I woke up to Negan carrying me into the compound, as quickly as possible.

"Hey, I'm up."

"I know, just let me get to our room."

I rubbed my eyes, as they were really puffy from crying. Once we got to his room, he put me on his bed and sat next to me.

"How are you feeling babydoll?"

"How am I supposed to feel.."

Tears came to my eyes, and Negan pulled me into his chest.

"Rick dropped this for you."

He gave me the letter that he was talking about, and I opened it and began to read it.

"Hello Y/n,

I hope everything at the sanctuary is well, and I don't know if you will read or get this. I got bit. And I don't know how long I will have left. I just felt like you deserved to know that. I know that it will be hard but you will be okay, no matter what happens to you. I know that you are with Negan, but it is okay. I love you beyond anything sis. Stay strong, and keep fighting.

C.G."

I began crying, and threw the letter on the ground. Negan picked it up, put it on the table, and began to comfort me. After about an hour of crying, Negan carried me to the bathroom, put me on the counter, and ran the water, putting the plug in. Once he put bubbles and pulled out a towel, he undressed me and himself. He led me to the bathtub and allowed me to get in before him. He slid in behind me, and wrapped his arms around me.

"I'm sorry doll, I truly am."

"I know.."

He kissed the back of my head and began to pour water from a cup onto my hair, and grabbed shampoo and washed my hair, giving my head a massage. Once he finished washing me and himself, he let the water out, grabbed his towel and wrapped it around his waist, and then grabbed my towel and wrapped it around me. He pulled me into his chest, standing there, holding me tight. Accidently, both our towels fell to the ground. He chuckled and began to kiss me. As the night continued, Negan and I have sex again, and we fell asleep together. In the morning, I woke up, and Negan wasn't there. I sat up, wrapped the duvet around myself, and saw a note on the loveseat in his bedroom.

"Mornin' doll,

I had to go to a meeting, so I'll be gone for the majority of the day. Stay in bed today so you can be ready for our run tomorrow. See you tonight.

Negan."

I smiled and got dressed in Negan's white shirt that was on the floor. I grabbed a piece of paper off of the coffee table that he had and began to draw a rose. When I was finished, I looked out the window and saw Negan yelling at his men. I sighed, and laid down, figuring that Negan would be coming up in a moment. To my surprise, within five minutes he was back, actually calm.

"Hey, how did it go?"

"It went well, had to yell to get it through Simon and Dwights mind where we're going tomorrow for our run, but it went pretty well."

After he got his jacket and shoes off and put Lucille down, he came to me and hugged me, pushing me down. He kissed me gently and looked into my eyes. Before I knew it, he bagan to tickle me, making me laugh.

"Negan! Stop!"

"Make me."

I then flipped him over and began to tickle him. Without any expectation, he grabbed my wrists and put them behind me, stopping me from tickling him. When we were finished, we laid down and held hands, starring at the ceiling. I looked to the clock and it was about 9:00pm.

"I'm tired baby."

"Then go to sleep doll. I'll be here."

"Okay, goodnight. I lo- hope you sleep well."

"I hope you do too."

I curled up on his chest, and fell right to sleep.
