Chapter 14

Shawn's POV
She pulled away from the hug and went to go sit on her bed.
"Car crash" she whispered as she sat down
"What do you mean" i asked confused
"My dad" she said looking down at her hands and i now understood. Still not making eye contact she continued
"It was sophomore year and we were suppose to go out to lunch that day after school" she paused
"You don't have to explain if you don't want to i understand" i told her but she shook her head
"I want to" she said and continued
Isabell's POV
FLASHBACK
That day during 3rd period on of the office aids walked in and was talking to the teacher. She nodded her head and called me up to her desk. The girl told me who she was and told me that they wanted me in the Student Service Center (Office). She told me I needed my stuff so i walked back to my desk and grabbed my things. The teacher told me bye and gave me a sympathetic smile. She asked me if i needed anything from my locker and i said i needed to put a few things away. So we went and i did what i had to do and we walked to the SSC. I walked in and I saw my brother there sitting on the chairs and it looked like he was crying.
"Sammy... what happened" i asked worried as hell
"D-dad was in a c-car accident" he said.
"But he's okay right" i asked as tears filled my eyes
He just shook his head
"He's dead Isabell" he said and broke down and i pulled him into a hug and we sat there crying together.
FLASHBACK OVER
"She came over to us and told us that our sister Emily was in the parking lot. She's my older sister. She moved out a few years ago.
We signed a couple papers saying why we were leaving and walked out. Tears were still rolling down my face as i got out to the car. Nobody spoke the whole way to the hospital. I said my last goodbyes to my dad and after that i wouldn't talk to anyone for 2 weeks. For 2 weeks i didn't say a single word. Everyday for those weeks i cried myself to sleep and i refused to eat almost everyday" i stopped because i couldn't even finish i was crying to hard now.
Shawn pulled me into his arms and said he was sorry but i just cried.
Shawn's POV
*1 month later*
I went to talk to Sammy because i needed advice.
I went to his room and knocked on his door.
"Come in" he said
"Hey Sammy" i said and walked in
"Oh hey Shawn, i've been meaning to talk to you" he said. oh no.
"About what" i asked
"My sister" he said and sat down and motioned me to sit down as well so i took a seat at his desk.
"Okay so there's only a week left of summer until you go back to Canada, and we're moving to LA" he said. Wait what.
"What are you talking about Sammy" i said confused now
"She hasn't told you ?" He asked
"Told me what" i said
"Well, for the past 7 months we've been talking about moving to LA and getting a house together once she was out of high school. Now that she is we've been looking at houses and me think we found the perfect place for us so we fly down in 2 weeks to check it out" he explained.
"Are you serious ?" I asked getting excited
"Yeah. I cant believe she hasn't told you" he said shocked
"Dude, no its okay, because everything's going to be perfect now" i said getting hopeful. Sammy looked confused and motioned for me to explain.
"For the past couple years i've been wanting to move to LA, and I talked to my parents about it and I'm going to as soon as I turn 18 which is in one month. I found a place already and i'm moving in a week after my birthday" i said and he started smiling.
"Bro, thats great !" He said. I was about to reply when Isabell knocked on the door.
"Hey Sammy can i talk to y-... Oh hey Shawn what are you doing in here ?" She asked walking in
"Nothing just talking to Sammy, where did you go" i said/asked.
"Volleyball" she answered.
"Isabell what the hell you know you aren't suppose to be playing !" Sammy said raising his voice.
"Sammy calm down shit ! If you haven't noticed i've been going to every practice. I haven't missed one. Im not even playing to so calm your tits" she said and i wanted to laugh but didnt
"If you don't play the. Why do you go" he asked calming down
"To watch so i know what the hell I'm doing when i get back in it" she said.
"Oh. Well what did you need ?" He asked feeling stupid. I could hear it in his voice.
"Nothing. Nevermind." she said and rolled her eyes and started to walk out but then turned around
"Shawn can we talk when you have a chance its important" she asked.
"Of course . I'll be there in a minute" i responded and se nodded and walked out.
"Should i tell her right now ?" I asked turning back to face him.
"Wait until after she tells you. Thats probably why she wants to talk" he said
"Or she's breaking up with me" i said slightly softer.
"What no dude you're crazy !" He said
"Did you see the way she looked at me ? She tried every possible way to avoid eye contact. She never does that. She didn't even come and give me a hug when she see's me and she always does that" i said
"Shawn stop. I see the way she looks at you and when you aren't around you're all she talks about, well besides volleyball. But dude, trust me she likes you A LOT i would say love but you've only been dating for a month and its too early for that" he said with a laugh
I laughed, thanked him and walked to her room.
"Hey Princess, whats up" i asked as i sat next to her on the bed.
"I'm moving to LA" she spit out, not making eye contact.
"So am I" i said and she looked at me.
"What ?" She asked
"Next month. After i turn 18 i'm moving to LA. I've wanted to for the past couple years and I talked to my parents about it already. So when i go back to Canada next week I finish packing and a week after my birthday i move in. I have a house already, and Aaliyah wants to go with me and my mom thinks I'm responsible enough so she's coming to live with me too" i said and she looked at me and smiled
"Shawn thats amazing !" She said and hugged me and she yawned
"Tired baby girl ?" I asked and she nodded.
"Lay down. Get so rest" i told her as i got up and kissed her forehead but before i left she grabbed my arm and stopped me.
"You aren't leaving" she smiled and pulled me down. I laid down and she fell asleep and i pulled her closer to me and wrapped my arms around her and eventually fell asleep myself
