Fall

White walls. White ceiling. Of course, I know where I am. Gaya nang inaasahan ko ay may naka-kabit na IV sa kamay ko. I feel awful and embarass. Sigurado akong sinisisi ni Herod ang sarili niya dahil sa nangyari, which I don't want him to worry about. I just passed out and nothing serious, my allergy sucks.

I room around and my eyes darted on someone leaning in the chair, sleeping peacefully. Para akong kinain nang hiya. Hindi ko aakalaing pati sa hospital ay makakasama ko siya. I just watch him, thinking what to do when he wakes up. Sa totoo lang, wala pang nakakaalam sa allergy ko. It's just me and I just take my meds and I'm fine. Hindi ko nga lang maintindihan kung bakit naisugod pa ako sa ospital.

"Thanks godness, you're awake!" Aniya na para bang nakahinga siya nang maluwag. Nakaupo na ako sa hospital bed at ayoko talagang natulog dito. Hindi ako ganoon ka komportable. Ano pa kaya sa mga pasyente? I sigh.

"I'm truly sorry about last night." I said sincerely.

"Oh, it's not that much." He look at his wrist watch. "Your doctor will be here in any minute, damn, I never know will meet again. Destiny really messed up sometimes." And the he smile. Ilang sandali pa ay bumukas ang pintuan. Napako ang tingin ko sa chart, no fucking way!

His lean masculine body, 6'4 height and messy hair. No more explanation, it's Parkers! The hell is he doing here?

Nakakainis!

"What the hell are you doing here?" I know am being rude but I don't care. He really like getting in my nerves when I am seeing him.

"Is that how you greet your assign doctor, Doc Menaid?"

"Oh, shut up, Parkers. Just take this damn IV away from me because I needed to go home."

"Hindi kita papayagan." Malamig na wika niya. Natigilan ako at napabuga nang hangin. Wala akong panahon para makipagtalo sa kaniya ngayon. Mula man noon hanggang ngayon ay walang pinagbago ang estado naming dalawa. Way back in our Med-school, he is really amazing student but then I really hate how he treated those lovely girls who confesses their love for him and he just ignore it like a fucking air!

"I know my condition very well, Doctor Parkers. Can I see my chart, please?" Napabuntonghininga siya at ibinigay sa akin ang chart. My test are normal. No abnormalities in my CBC, RBC and WBC. My hemoglobin is good, no worries. Lahat naman ay ayos, hindi ko nga lang alam kong ano ang gusto niyang mangyari.

"Then, why did you drink that fucking whiskey?" Aniya at lumipat ang tingin nito kay Herod. "At ikaw naman, pinayagan mo-"
"Hey, you moron. Huwag mong isali 'tong si Herod. I made that decision, labas na siya doon. And he treats me for those drinks by the way. Ano bang pinuputok nang butchi mo, Siowojen? Palagi kana lang sumusulpot kung nasaan ako, stalker ka ba?"

"Of course not! so don't call me moron, it's disrespectful coming from a doctor like you."

"Oh well, I have no plans to be a saint in front of you, Parkers. Can't you see? I'm allergic when you're around. You get on my nerves easily and I really want to punch you right, right in that annoying face of yours!"

"You really resent me that much? Am I that tormented creature in your eyes, Seunjah?"

Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Yes, you know. Past can't really change the future. At kung umaasa ka man magbabago ang tingin ko sa'yo, then you're just day dreaming so pissed off and let me out from this goddamn hospital."

He just groaned. I heard Herod chuckles. Sabay kaming napatingin sa kaniya, his cheeks are now red, halatang kanina pa niya pinipigilan ang pagtawa.

"Shut up, cousin!" Siowojen hissed.

Holy moly. Cousin? As in pinsan? No shit, sir! They're fucking blood related!?

"Tell me I'm just imaginating things that the both of you is really blood related or what?"
"Sorry for lying, Eun. Sio is my cousin, from mother side, of course. Her mom and mine are sisters, I really don't know where he get those cheeky eyes. Dude, are you really a fil-am or just a bloody korean or what? I don't really understand where did you get that fucking genes of yours!" At tuluyan nang humalakhak si Herod.

"So the both of you are Regus?" I'm referring to their middle name. Nang-narealize ko ay doon ko palang pinagtagpi-tagpi.

"Oh, shit." Regus is one of the successful car company throughout the whole Europe. I really idolize their Chairwoman, it's Zerah Regus.

"Zerah Regus is y-your aunt?" Sabay silang napatingin sa akin at tumango. "How the fuck I did not know that?"

"Man, she really love cursing isn't she?" Si Herod.

"Nagulat ka ba namin? Lalabas kami." Aniya Siowojen. Para namang nalusaw na yelo ang pagkainis ko sa kaniya. Matapos kong narinig na tiyahin niya pala ang may-ari nang kompanyang iyon. Damn, that's the rival of my dad's older brother' company. IC is the name of Tito Alkis company, Papa Emadeus is the real heir but he choose to serve his country that's why the company falls in Tito Alkis hands. IC is also a car company, Tito Alkis is a great engineer and he also pursue automotive, the rest are history.

"What's with our aunt by the way?" It was Herod who asked. Magkaiba ang ugali nila ni Siowojen, Herod is just a go-with-the-flow kind of guy but Siowojen he is a man of his word, so serious, sometimes rude and so full of himself. Now I understand where his confidence came from, it runs in their blood. After all, he is the nephew of Zerah Regus. Not just him, Herod as well.

"I really love her cars, she's really successful in that field. No wonder, hindi siya nakapag-asawa." Oh, shit. So much info from your filty mouth, Seunjah.

"Oh, that? Aunt Z is really strict. Ayaw niyang tawagin namin siyang Tita Zerah, gusto niya talagang tawagin sa pangalan na Aunt Z, mataas rin ang standards niya when it comes to men. She doesn't like rich guys nor poor, we really don't understand her taste when it comes to man. Maybe it's because of her past from a man, am I right coz?" Herod look at Siowojen but that brute is looking right at the window.

"It's Fall. Winter is here, mabilis pa ito sa inaakala ko. I thought it will fall next week."
They said, kapag naabutan ka nang nyebe na may kasamang lalaki ay ma-iinlove daw ito sa'yo at mamahalin mo rin siya kagaya nang pagmamahal niya sa'yo. Everyone is crazy about the first fall but I am more crazy right because I lost my senses. I am with two guys right, kanino ako mahuhulog?

"Um.. thank you about last night. Pasensya na rin at nakaabala ako sa inyong dalawa. Mukang maayos naman ako ngayon, pwede na ba akong ma-discharge. I really need to go home right now."

Magbobook pa ako nang flight papuntang Argentina!

"So you could go to Argentina?" Napatingin ako sa kaniya. How this brute knows?

"Easy to forget, eh? You have that habit when you're drunk. You said, you meet Seri in Brisbane and she is really nice. She even invite you to dine with her. You said, you really hate ER's. You said, you want to go to Argentina because it's colder there than Australia. So tell me, why are you running away, Seunjah?"

That caught me off guard. Para akong nabingi sa mga sinabi niya. I really hate you, whiskey. Huwag muna akong lalandiin ulit. Napatingin lang ako sa bintana, it's really snowing outside and I'm in this fuckinh hospital with this two male, nephews of Zerah Regus and she will be the reason of my uncle's company bankruptcy, she made him fall.
