If Siowojen didn't come in time, Herod and Hecap might be in jail now. I don't know if Siowojen knows about this. Hindi naman siguro ililihim nang pamilya Levitte ang katotohanan sa kaniya di'ba?

"Alam ba 'to ni Tita Hel?" Iritadong tanong ni Siowojen sa kaniyang pinsan. Kasalukuyan niyang nilalagyan nang yelo ang sugat nito para huwag mamaga.

"How would the hell would she know? She's back on her damn work, cousin. Aw! Be gentle. Walang anesthesia--aray!" Sinaaman niya nang tingin si Siowojen.

"It's just a small cut, idiot! Bakit ba kayo nag-away?"

Okay, he doesn't know.

"He pissed me off. He insulted our family." Maikling sagot ni Herod. Kaagad namang kumunot ang noo ni Siowojen.

"Insulted? In what kind of way? Does he know something about us?" Herod let out a small chuckle but groans at the end. Idiin kasi nang gago niyang pinsan ang yelo.

"That's a really sweet of you and so gentle, Dr. Parkers." Herod sarcastically stated.

"My pleasure. So care to tell me what the fuck happend? Dra. Menaid's condo look like shit."

Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Okay na ba kayo? Bakit parang ayos ata ang hangin n'yong dalawa?"

"Is he the Siowojen Parkers you always told me, Ate Seunjah?" Oh good lord. Idiniin ko ang betadine sa kaniyang sugat kaya napa igik siya. That's because you got a big mouth!

"Yeah, he is the brute I always told you. Remember when I got summoned in board's office? God, he sounds like a prosecutor!"

Nasaan na ngayon ang mabait mong aura, Seunjah? Back to basic na naman ba? You ask for his help, you should be nice to him.

"But he help us today, thanks to him. Hindi ka napuruhan! Ikaw naman kasi, your half-brother is a gold medalist in Judo! You should have done your research before you punch him!"

"Half-brother? What the hell is going on?" Rinig ko ang pagtataka sa boses niya.

"He is Dad's child, Sio."

Ramdam ko ang pagtitig niya sa akin kaya kinuha ko ang maliit na gauze at nilagay iyon sa sugat ni Hecap.

"A forbidden love, Dr. Parkers. Company shits, my mum doesn't want to marry the Menaid heir but she have no choice because their company is falling. My mom was hopelessly inlove with Albun, they're sort of like high school lovers so they try to elope so I happend. Years later they found out I am not a real Menaid, I am a son of Albun Levitte from Amanda Menaid who was bound to marry Alkis Menaid. But then, my father was inlove with someone else and that's your fucking aunt. Zerah Regus."

"See? See why I punch him in that fucking face! He just insulted Aunt Z again!" Nagpupumiglas ito sa hawak ni Siowojen pero malakas si Parkers kaya nanatili siyang nakaupo. Pinitik ko ang sugat ni Hecap.

"Aray!"

"Your big mouth will kill you, you lil shit."

"You cuss at me now?" He pout at me. This kid, talagang..

"You need to clean this mess between you two. Magkapatid kayo, hindi sa Ina pero sa ama. At ikaw naman, learn to control your patience!"

"Are you lecturing me now, Sio? Ugh. This is frustrating!" Napapadyak si Herod sa sahig. I guess the old Herod is back. He can be childish sometimes. Malayong malayo sa impresyon nang lahat sa kaniya. He is not just hot, he can also make you fall for his silly attitude.

"Childish."

"You little!"

"Hecap Argus!" Malakas na sigaw ko kaya napatakip siya nang kaniyang tainga. He knows what does mean. Nahalata ko ring nagulat ang dalawang magpinsan sa ginawa ko.

"How can you be so fucking careless!? How could you not know how to control your fucking mouth? You are not a kid anymore! You have your own company now! Stop acting like a child! Everyone messed up, you understand?"

Tumango siya.

"Just be glad Siowojen Ailben R. Parkers save your fucking ass from his bloody cousin! Magpasalamat ka sa pinsan mo!"

Umiling siya.

"Hecap Argus Mena-"

"Okay, okay! I'm sorry. Is that fine? No need to shout my whole damn name."

"Say 'sorry kuya' now!"

"Hell no!"

"I won't accept that!"

Sabay nilang sinabi. They're really fucking siblings. Mga matitigas ang ulo. Maikli ang pasensya at hindi magpapatalo. Bumaling ako sa kay Parkers, nakatingin na pala ito sa akin.

"You two is a big headache." I sigh and leave them. Nakakastress sila. Pumunta ako sa rooftop, 4PM kaya hindi masakit sa balat ang sikat nang araw. Dumapi sa aking balat ang hanging oktubre. Napapikit ako at dinamdam iyon.

"Bakit hindi mo kaagad sinabi sa akin?"

Mabilis akong napamulat at nilingon siya.

"Iniwan mo ang dalawang unggoy na 'yon? Paano kung mag-away na naman ulit. I can't handle-"

"Chill, Hecap already said sorry to his kuya."

My jaw dropped. "Really? Did he really said 'sorry kuya' " Tumango siya. May kaunting ngiti na sumilay sa kaniyang labi at kaagad ring nawala. The last time I saw him smile was the day I passed my bar exam. After that I never see him for years, nagulat na nga lang ako na magkatrabaho na kaming dalawa.

"Can I ask something?" Ramdam ko ang pagdadalawang isip niya. Binalewala ko iyon at tumango. Iniwas ang tingin at napahawak sa matigas na bakal nasa harapan namin.

"Why.. why did you do that?"

"Do what?" Inosenteng tanong ko. Tinatanaw pa rin ang kalsada kahit maliit na sasakyan lamang ang aking nakikita.

This is better than to see his brown eyes.

"Leave me hanging and get dumped." Malamig na tugon niya.

"What are you talking about?" Napahawak ako nang mahigpit sa barandilya. I don't like this.

I hate this feeling.

The way his words makes me tremble, gives me so much goosebumps and make me caught on guard. I don't like it. Pero may takas pa ba ako? Ako lang itong nagpapatuloy na nagkukunwari kahit sa kaloblooban ko ay ilang beses ko nang minura ang aking sarili.

"Stop acting like you have a tragic car accident and suddenly you fell into amnesia. Stop running away, Seunjah. Stop the chase and face me."

He pulled my hand and I'm already facing him. Pakiramdam ko nawala lahat nang lakas na inipon ko sa aking sarili nang nagtagpo ang aming mga mata. His brown eyes is really something, it's driving me crazy over those pair of eyes and that's what I hated the most. Those eyes always told me what he feels inside. He is readable. He is predictable and I'm just lost with his pupils.

"Huwag ka nang tumakbo dahil walang kanang tatakbuhan pa. Kahit saan ka pumunta sa akin ka pa rin babagsak, you understand what I mean, Seunjah? This time, I wouldn't allow you to dissappear just like a bubble. I will hold this hand and never let go again.."

Pinagsiklop niya ang aming daliri. I immediately get my hand off.

"I can't." I avoid my eyes from him. Nakayuko lang ako. This is much better. I can think clearly without looking on his eyes.

"Am I that fast? Damn, I'll wait for you. I will save you again, Seunjah. Just like how you save me from so much sadness.." Dahil sa sinabi niya ay tuluyan na akong napatingin sa kaniya.

How could this man be insane? I save him? I save him from sadness. Did I? Ginawa ko ba talaga 'yon? Will he really save me from everything? Even it's messed up. I really don't understand him.

Siowojen Ailben Parkers, you are confusing me.
