Reason

Naalimpungatan ako nang narinig ko ang malakas na boses ni Seunjah. She's talking someone in the phone and I could tell, she's mad by analysing her expression.

"You know Fatima fancy you, right? Hecap Argus, what the fuck did you do!? And now you're what? Going to Zerah Regus? Oh, good lord. You must be out of your mind! What about those scandals? Akala mo hindi nakarating sa akin!? For fuck's sake, you're father is barely breathing, you asshole!"

After that I saw her end the call. Bumaling siya sa direksyon ko. She smile tired and apologetically.

"Sorry about that, I just can't control my emotion when it comes to Hecap. It's really a bad move. Did he just dumped my friend for that goddamn mega star? I cannot believe him." She continue.

I pull her forearm and she fell in my lap. My nose touch her cheeks and I can feel her stiffness. I really like how she reacts in my simple gestures and touches.

"Sorry about my cousin, alam kong close na close kayong dalawa. Maski ako ay hindi alam kong anong sasabihin kay Hecap. Even Herod doesn't know how to start conversation with his younger brother." I said as I breath on her neck.

"It's a lot to think, Tito Alkis is barely holding and I don't think he'll make it this month. If there's another attack for him. He'll expire." Her voice became soft. Nawala sa tinig niya ang pagkairita kanina at nawala rin ang frustration.

"Let's just pray that he'll be fine." I whisper and kiss her hair. Humarap naman siya sa akin at ngumiti nang tipid.

"How's your sleep last night?"

I grin. "It's fine."

I remember how she hug me tightly last night, I don't know if she remembers. I'm barely moving because I don't want to wake her up. In order to give her a good sleep, I manage to stay still in my very position. Her hugging me tightly and me trying to sleep not to get tempted by her soft snore.

Damn, those snore makes me turned on!

"What's on your mind?"

"That you're beautiful at everything."

"Tss. Bolero. What time is it?" I look at the clock.

"Still early, amore. Wanna cuddle?" Umiling siyang nakangiti. Umalis siya sa kandungan ko at kumuha nang suklay. She looks so pretty even on her messy hair.

"I'm going to help Mama in the kitchen, would you be fine with Papa?"

"Tito Emadeus is fine, amore. Sabi mo nga hindi siya nangangain. So I'm safe with him." I just watch her intently while she's doing her hair-do. Pinusod niya iyon nang maayos at humarap sa akin.

"I'll be with you after breakfast, let's go back at home mamayang one p.m." She kiss my lips and  gave me a warm smile. Naiwan akong nakaupo sa kama nang nakangiti. What a wonderful morning I have with her. Before coming down I saw someone's calling in my phone.

It's Aunt Z.

"Good morning, Aunt Z."

"Ano itong nalalaman kong konektado ka sa anak nang mga Menaid, Siowojen?" Kalmado ang boses niya pero halatang nagpipigil lang siyang pagtaasan ako.

"Aunt Z. Seunjah is not involve her. She's my girlfriend. I can't leave her." She sigh, she's problematic.

"Listen, Siowojen. Those articles right now wasn't mine. Someone is plotting it for me, or to my nephew. I understand Hecap Argus have a grudge on me but I know time will come he will accept everything but this time. It wasn't me. I don't do any investigations on IC, sinasabi ko hindi ako iyon.-- Ma'am, Mr. Menaid is here."
