8:Eight

Meryl and Selene woke up from their nap after almost two hours and Selene regained her energy.

"Selene, what do you want for dinner, huh?"Meryl asked as the three of them walk to the grocery store.

"Mama, I want uhmm I want vegetables with uhmmm chicken."Selene answered and Meryl chortled.

"Okay, I will cook that."Meryl said and Selene widely smiled.

They arrived at the grocery store and Selene asked Pierce if she can ride the cart. Pierce said yes and she gently carried her for her to sit on it since Selene is a small girl.

"How about I bake brownies for dessert, you want that?"Meryl asked and she looked at Selene. The little girl eagerly nodded and it made the two adults chortle.

"We awe going to youw apawtment, mama?"Selene asked and Meryl nodded with a hum and it made her smile.

After almost an hour of buying Meryl's needs for their diner, they rode the subway to go to Meryl's apartment. Selene is thrilled because she now have a mama that can cook dinner for them. They entered Meryl's apartment and Meryl found her mother in the living room.

"Hey mom, you home early."Meryl said and her mother nodded.

"Well, I am leaving again, I am just waiting for you."Her mother replied.

"By the way mom, this is Pierce, my friend from the theater and his daughter, Selene. They're eating dinner here."Meryl said and her mother stood up.

"Hi, I'm Mary."Meryl's mother uttered and she offered her hand. Pierce smiled as she shook her hand and Selene is just smiling.

"My gwandma is also Mawy."Selene uttered and it made Meryl's mother chortle.

"Meryl also have Mary in her name."The old lady uttered and it made Selene softly giggled.

"Alright, Meryl, I need to leave now."Mary said and Meryl who is in the kitchen nodded.

"Okay mom, take care!"Meryl yelled.

"Nice to meet you, Pierce and Selene."Mary said and the father-daughter duo smiled.

"Nice to meet you, too, ma'am."Pierce said softly and she left.

Pierce and Selene headed to the kitchen and Meryl is already preparing the food she'll cook.

"You need help?"Pierce asked and Meryl shook her head.

"Pierce, you are my visitor so just relax."Meryl answered and Pierce heaved a deep sigh.

"Okay, fine."Pierce said and Meryl chuckled.

"Mama, what's youw full name?"Selene suddenly asked and it made Meryl laugh.

"Mary Louise Streep."She simply answered and Selene gasped.

"Youw name is also Mawy!"Selene exclaimed and Pierce pinched Selene's nose.

"Yes, my name also have Mary in it but my dad is the one who called me Meryl so I just sticked with it."Meryl explained.

"Mommy!"A voice suddenly yelled and they are sure that it isn't Selene.

"Mommy, my car won't run anymore!"A voice uttered and a little boy suddenly went in the kitchen.

Selene's eyes went round and she quickly gazed at her father before looking back at the little boy.

"Apollo?"Selene called for him and the little boy looked at her.

"Selene!"Apollo yelled and he immediately ran to her.

"What are you doing here?"Apollo asked.

"We'we going to eat dinnew hewe."Selene answered.
