28: Twenty-Eight

The family headed to a restaurant after the happenings in the theater and Meryl is still in cloud nine. She's been dropping hints for a very long time and it is now happening. They are now officially engaged.

"Is it really happening?"Meryl asked Pierce as she wrap her arms around his neck, resting her chin on his shoulder.

"Yes, love. It's really happening."Pierce answered with a soft giggle.

"My God, we're getting married."Meryl said and he looked at her.

"You ready to be my mrs. Brosnan?"Pierce asked.

"Well, I already have another Brosnan here in my tummy and Apollo will also be a Brosnan soon so why not join the hype?"Meryl asked and the two of them giggled.

"Can we get married in the date that I first met you?"Meryl asked.

"Love, don't be mad but I already forgot the date of that."Pierce answered and Meryl softly giggled.

"I have a planner and I write everything there don't worry."Meryl said and Pierce kissed her nose.

"So guys where are you going to get married?"Harry asked.

"They can get married in our house. It is beside the lake, it's okay for like a hundred guests."Meryl's father intervened and Pierce looked at Meryl.

"I want to get married at the dock. That special dock."Pierce whispered and the two of them laughed.

"Of course, dad, we're getting married there."Meryl said and Pierce kissed her temple.

"And we want it just simple. Just family and some closest friends."Pierce said and Meryl smiled.

"Meryl, if you are free tomorrow, I met this woman, she sew these beautiful gowns and we are now friends so we might get a little discount, you know."Pierce's mom uttered and the couple softly giggled.

"Sure, let's take Selene because she have lots to say when it comes to clothing."Meryl replied.

"Guys, don't forget my wedding next weekend."Dana suddenly uttered that elicited laughters from all of them.

"Of course, who would forget that?"Meryl asked.

"Just reminding you guys."Dana said and Meryl laughed.

After all the engagement celebration, they all headed home and the couple is still hyped with everything that's happening.

"My God babe, can you believe it?Apollo will become a Brosnan soon, we will get married, we're having a baby."Pierce said and Meryl giggled as she crawl to their bed.

"All the hint-dropping are worth it."Meryl said and Pierce planted a soft kiss on her lips.

"You know that I'll still marry you no matter what, right?"Pierce asked and Meryl nodded.

"Yeah, I just want it too soon that's why I dropped so many hints."Meryl answered and Pierce laughed.

"I love you, my love."Pierce said softly.

"I love you, too, baby."Meryl replied and she buried her face on his chest.

"You and our baby are beautiful."Pierce whispered.

"You are beautiful."Meryl replied and Pierce kissed the top of her head.

For the next days, Meryl and Pierce juggled their time in planning and buying things for their wedding while they're working but they had to put their wedding planning on-hold for Dana's wedding however, that's only for three days.

"God, it's already super late. I am freaking tired."Meryl uttered for they just got home from Dana's wedding.

"Then sleep already. I'll just change my clothes."Pierce said and they suddenly heard the doorbell ring that made Meryl groan.
