18:Eighteen

Meryl have spent her days with her attorney for they are suppose to win it at the first court hearing but Michael have his own tactics in playing them.

"Mommy!"The two toddlers suddenly squealed as she arrive at the their apartment from her meeting with her lawyer for talked about what they're going to do at the second hearing.

"Hey, my babies."Meryl said and she kissed the two's foreheads.

"I missed you both."Meryl whispered and the two hugged her tight.

"Is daddy home already?"Meryl asked as she sit on the couch.

"Hey."A voice greeted her, feeling a quick kiss on her cheek.

"Oh, hey, didn't see you there."Meryl said to Pierce who is lying on the couch and she immediately lied on his chest.

"You okay?"He asked almost a whisper.

"I don't know."Meryl answered and Pierce rested his lips on her forehead.

"Another hearing tomorrow?You'll be fine, I promise."Pierce uttered softly and she placed a hand on his cheek.

"Can you be there again?"Meryl asked and he nodded.

"Of course, babe."Pierce answered and she looked up at him.

"What's for dinner?"She asked that made him giggle.

"The kids and I cooked for you."Pierce said that made her gasp.

"Really?"She asked in disbelief as she sit up straight.

"Yes, really."Pierce answered as he sit up, too, giving a peck on her lips.

"Babies, let's show mommy what we did for dinner."Pierce said and their toddlers quickly stood up.

"Let's go, mommy."Apollo uttered, holding his mother's left hand and Selene holding the other.

"Did my babies cook?"Meryl asked as they walk to their dining area.

"We helped daddy cook."Apollo answered and Meryl's eyes went round seeing what's served on the table.

"Can you tell me though what you guys cooked?"Meryl asked and Pierce pulled a chair for her, kissing his girlfriend's forehead.

"Uhhmmm creamy pasta with uhmm uhmm chicken and spinach."Apollo started.

"And then mommy, gawlic buttewed uhmm shwimp."Selene added and it made Pierce and Meryl giggle.

"For dessert, we stole your brownies recipe."Pierce uttered and it made Meryl's jaw drop.

"You guys are so sweet, even if you stole my recipe."Meryl said and the two toddler just kissed their mother's cheek before sitting beside each other.

"You three are making me cry with all this."Meryl said almost a whisper as Pierce sit beside her.

"Because mommy, the othew days, you always help us with cleaning the apawtment and ouw homewowks."Selene uttered for the kids don't really know what else is happening to Meryl.

"And you have been going through a lot. You deserve atleast a short break."Pierce whispered and tears started rolling down her cheeks.

"What did I do to even deserve you three?You guys are so good to me."Meryl said and Pierce kissed her temple, wiping her tears with his thumb.

"We don't even know if we deserve you."Pierce said and Meryl looked at him.

"I love you, my love."She whispered and he smiled.

"I love you, too, my love."Pierce replied and he quickly gave a peck on her lips.

"Let's eat!"Meryl exclaimed that made him laugh.
