I received a call from Damian. He said that Xanthe Metafora, who is currently locked up in her cell, is unconscious. High on alert ngayon ang mga legionnaires. Ibig sabihin ay nasa ibang katawan ngayon si Metafora, for some unknown reasons. This also means that she found a way through the zion-cancelling tha that was casted on the whole prison.
My driver parked my car. My bodyguards went out first after me. I was supposed to meet Damian here. The whole place is surrounded by armed legionnaires. I saw Damian wearing his legion uniform. Sinalubong ako niya ako kasama ng mga subordinates niya.
"How on hell did she break the zion-cancelling tha?"
"We're about to find out."
Nag-gesture siya sa mga nagbabantay sa gate ng prison. Unti-unting nagbukas ang gates para papasukin kami. The guards led us to the exact place of Metafora's cell.
"Master Phyllis," biglang lumapit sa amin ang isang middle-aged man, si Estevan, ang chief nitong prison. Nang batiin niya si Damian ay napansin niya ako. "Bakit siya nandito? Hindi siya isang politiko, lalong lalo nang hindi legionnaire."
"Isa siyang ally ng legion. His business is affiliated to us," sabi ni Damian.
"Tsk," narinig ko ang bulong ni Estevan. One of my bodyguards made a move towards him but I gestured to stop. Now is not that time to be aggressive.
Nakarating kami sa selda ni Metafora. Nakabukas na ang pinto nito at wala na siya sa loob.
"Dinala namin ang katawan niya sa isang sikretong lugar. Hindi niya 'yon mahahanap kung may balak pa siyang bumalik sa katawan niya," Estevan explained.
I activated my Theama to scan the cell. Through the years, I became more efficient in detecting zion, something that is invisible to a non-Ezio's eye. Nakita ko ang kulay pulang zion na napapalibutan ang paligid. This red zion is the zion-cancelling tha. Pero naputol ito pagdating sa kulungan ni Metafora.
"The zion-cancelling tha is broken inside," sinabi ko sa kanila. "Naimbestigahan niyo na ba kung paano 'to nangyari?"
"Sa totoo lang, wala kaming ideya. Ang psetha specialist na si Faustus ang nag-develop ng tha na ito, na inspired mula sa sealing tha o ang Diatrisi ng Ducon clan."
"Pero patay na si Faustus ngayon," sagot ni Damian. "At kahit siya mismo ay hindi alam kung paano ma-break ang zion-cancelling tha. You'd have to be a Diatrisi expert. Metafora, until now, hadn't been known to be one."
Then how the hell did she do this. Ngayon ay nakakagamit siya ng ibang katawan at malayang nakakapunta kahit saan. Biglang may lumapit na guard kay Estevan at may sinabi dito. Pagkatapos nilang mag-usap, humarap siya sa amin.
