Later on in the day, it's the start of lunch. Alina and Sarah sat at the high chair table, whilst Brody, Hayley, and Calvin got some drinks at the snack stop. the lounge area has got a pool table, and a snack bar called the "snack stop."
"If the datacom just gives you the answer, you'll never figure out how to do things on your own" Hayley tried to explain to Brody, walking back towards Sarah and Alina with Brody and Calvin.
"if you have a tool, you should use it. That's all I'm saying" Brody said giving one of the drinks he was holding, to Alina. Preston sneakily looks around so that no one is listening and whispers "Uh, guys, bad news. the monster Brody fought. he's back."
"come on. guys, now you'll see how useful my datacom really is" Brody said, kissing Alina goodbye and began to walk out with his teammates, whilst getting his datacom out of his bag. until he pokes his hand, out of the hole and worried...
"Oh, no. My datacom must have fallen out of the hole. we have to find it before we go up against that monster."
Shocked at what their leader declared, Sarah said "What? No. Brody, we fought without your datacom before. We can do it again. Come on." they were about to exit, hoping Brody would follow. "don't worry. I'll-- I'll be right behind you guys" Brody promised, walking away to check the science room.
However, Alina went up to Sarah and the others. "don't worry about Brody, I'll try to talk to him. you guys go." She followed Brody to the Science room, whilst Calvin said "Let's go" exiting the school.

Inside the Science room, Brody and Alina looked far and deep for the datacom. such as Brody tipping the bin over, looking in a certain cupboard and over a globe. "oh. where could it be?" Brody asked himself leaning against the counter, with Alina comforting him by rubbing his back.
"Are you sure you need it, Brody?" Alina asked.
Brody answered "Of course. The datacom knows how to beat every monster" turning around to face Alina, holding both hands in his.
"interesting, but sharing that ninja knowledge with the team this morning-- that was the datacom right?" Alina wanted to trick him.
"no. that was me, not my datacom Alina."
"ah. and escaping the ship to save the Ninja Steel, who was that?" she asked again.
"you know that was me, Alina, I promised that to you," Brody said in frustration.
"Exactly!" Alina exclaimed, placing both of her hands, on each side of Brody's face. she explained "The datacom may give you an answer every now and then, but never once, never did it give you the courage to lead. That, my love, that was all you." she kissed him on the lips.

As she puts her arms away, Brody finally realised "You're right. I don't need a datacom. I already have everything I need, you, and including a great team."
