I left Gandalf with Bilbo and returned to the Dining room where a few dwarfs sat. Some of the others seemed to have walked around the house. "Ah, our newbie." the hatted Dwarf named Bofur said in a joyful mood. "I hate you," I growled and sat beside him on the chair Thorin was sitting in five Minutes ago. "Why?" he asked back. "Because you scared him to death talking about the dragon," I replied. "I was playing with him," he replied. "Oh yeah, guess where that led," I said snappily. "Come on, Nessa, don't be mean." A blond dwarf said. "How do you know my name?" I asked him. "I was listening when Gandalf introduced you," he replied. "Uhuh," I mumbled. "I'm Fili, by the way, and this is my Brother Kili." Fili introduced him and the black-headed dwarf next to him. I waved to both of them since they were sitting at the other end of the table. "You already know Bofur," Fili said, pointing to the dwarf beside me. "Yeah," I said, glaring at him. "Oi lass, I was trying to fool him," Bofur said. "Just forget it." I snapped again and looked at two other Dwarfs sitting around the table. "This is my Cousin Bombur, and this little fellow is Ori," Bofur said, introducing the last in this round. I waved at him, and he gave me a cute little smile. "Excuse me, I'm sorry to interrupt, Nessa my, I ask you to sign this Contract." a voice said. As I turned my head, I saw an elderly-looking dwarf. "Sure." I agreed and took the Prarchement from him. After a quick read-through, I signed and returned the contract to him. "He seemed nice," I said after he left the room. "That was Balin, Thorin's advisor and close friend," Bofur said. After talking and getting to know each other, we walked to the living room. While standing next to the couch, I heard the dwarfs singing a song about their home., I got tired, and soon after the song, we went to sleep. The next morning, we all woke up early. While breakfast was prepared, I quickly brushed through my hair when Ori approached me with a plate. "Here you go, Miss," he said. "Call me Nessa," I said with a smile. "Don't call me Miss. It makes me feel old." I added, and Ori smiled. "Okay, Nessa," he replied. After finishing the little bit on the table, which seemed to be the rest from yesterday. I gave the plate into the kitchen sink before walking to the door, where I met Bofur and the brothers Fili and Kili. I ignored them by fiddling around with my backpack. A flick of black hair passed me, and I heard a voice commanding. I knew it was Thorin, so I walked behind him outside, where Brego and the other Ponys waited. With a little whistle, I searched for Brego, who lifted his head and neighed when he saw me. With a little smile, I walked towards him, slowly petting his nose. "Did you sleep well?" I asked him. Brego nodded, which made me smile. "You are such a good boy," I whispered into his ear. "On the horses, we have to get going," Thorin called. Slowly, the dwarfs hopped onto their horses. "You need help, Nessa?" Thorin asked while he passed me. "No, thank you, Thorin," I replied and swung myself into my saddle. The fur made it super comfortable to ride. While riding out of Hobbiton I glanced at the beauty of the shire until we left it behind us traveling through a forest. Thanks to my elvish hearing I heard the dwarfs betting Werther Bilbo would turn up or not. "I bet he will turn up, 50 Gold coins." I said to Nori who thought he won't turn up, "Alright Lass, that's a bet." he said shaking his hand. A part of the Dwarfs and Gandalf bet that he would come while Nori, Dori, and Dwalin bet he wouldn't. We continued to ride while I slowly learned to know my companions. We rode through a forest when I heard somebody behind us. "Thorin," I called and spored my horse into a gallop until I was next to Thorins Pony. "Somebody is coming," I whispered towards Thorin but when I heard the voice I knew who it was. "Wait! Wait!" Bilbo yelled behind us which made us stop and turn around seeing him running towards us and stopped at Balin's Pony. "I signed it," he said happily passing the Contract to Balin. He checked the Contract before smiling at Bilbo. "Everything appears to be in order. Welcome, master Baggins, to the company of Thorin Oakenshield," he said and all the dwarfs cheered. "Give him a pony," Thorin said and turned his Pony, I nudged Brego who followed Thorins Pony. "No, no, no, no. That...that won't be necessary. Thank you. I'm sure I can keep up on foot. Yeah, I...I've done my fair share of walking holidays, you know? Even got as far as Frog Morton once." Bilbo called behind us which made me smile. "What are you smiling about?" Thorin asked. "Bilbo was protesting about the Pony," I replied.
