Everybody was asleep, so I took my chance and snuck outside where nobody was. Bilbo and I climbed down together and separated when we reached the other side of the River flowing right in front of the gate of Erebor. "Don't worry about me Bilbo, I will be fine," I said quietly before he pulled me into a hug. "I'm not worried about you, more about Thorin when he finds out I had the Stone this whole time," Bilbo replied. "He will be fine when he realizes that it's for his best," I said with a quick smile. "I just hope so," he replied and released me. "Far well Nessa I will see you soon," Bilbo said. "Far well Bilbo, be careful with Thranduil I don't know if he still has a grudge," I said worriedly. "Oh yeah and if you speak with the elven King ask him if I could have my Sword and Bow back," I asked while I slowly walked backward. "Will do," Bilbo replied. I waved, turned around, and ran off up the hill. This was the way Thorin showed me where the Iron hills were. I eased my pace thinking about my way in front of me. I wasn't sure how far the iron hills were or if Dain was already on his way to Erebor. I was used to walking for hours but soon after sunrise, I took a break to drink and eat something from the stuff I had packed up. It wasn't much but enough to fill up my energy. Just as I was about to leave I heard a twig snap nearby. Immediately I turned around ready to fight with a dwarf sword which wasn't the same as Oathkeeper. Another twig snapped but closer, my arm was up and ready to fight against whatever was coming towards me. A few minutes later a black horse came running out of the forest towards me with an Orc riding a warg close behind him. I aimed for the warg and threw the Sword towards the Warg hitting him right into the head. it fell to the ground dead, with a swift movement I moved away from the Orc pulling the sword out of the wargs head, with another swift movement the Orc who tried to sneak up on me was killed with a swing. „Stupid creature," I mumbled. While I turned around I put the sword back into the sheat. The black one was standing close breathing heavily. „Your hurt bud?" I asked him, it didn't seem like it, after a quick check I was sure he wasn't when I finally recognized him. „Oh Mahal I can't believe it," I said to Brego, his neigh made me smile. „I missed you so much," I told my faithful steed. Brego put his head in my hands and closed his eyes for a second. "Come on, we have a long road ahead of us." I quietly said and mounted him. Brego started walking but I pulled on the reins. "No Bud, this way," I told him, Brego snorted and walked into the directing I guided him. The whole day was just a forest and sometimes nothing. Finally, in the evening I saw light in the far distance in front of me. Finally was my first thought I continued my path until a voice stopped me abruptly. "Halt, who rides there?" A male guard asked me, I showed my face to him since I had my hoody up. "My Name is Nessa, I would like to speak with Lord Dain," I told him. "For which reason?" he asked back. With a quick search through my pockets, I took the metal piece out and tossed it towards the guard. "I'm one of the companions of Lord Dains Cousin Thorin Oakenshield, we traveled together to Erebor," I told him. "Please wait here Miss," he said and I nodded. While I waited I looked around and saw a lot of Battle machines and wagons but I couldn't tell which animals could pull those. "Lord Dain will see you now." The guard said who came back. "Lead on I will follow you," I said, the Guard turned around and walked on between some tents. I flicked my tongue and Brego followed the guard until we reached a big tent in the middle of the field. "Lord Dain is waiting, you can leave him with me." The Guard said, I thanked him with a nod and dismounted Brego. After I passed him the reins I entered the Tent. "Greetings Lord Dain it's nice to meet you finally, Thorin told me a lot about you," I said when I stood in front of Dain with a bow. "Greetings, Your Name was Nessa Aye?" he asked and I nodded. Dain pointed to a chair in front of the table he was sitting on. "Yes Milord," I replied while I sat down on the offered seat. "What Purpose do you have with Thorin?" he asked. "We traveled together for 14 Months from the Shire to Erebor, in this time I fell in love with Thorin," I told him. "But then our Love got tested but we survived that, now we need your help because war is coming and our company is too small against elves and men who are mad at Thorin for not paying what he promised because of the dragon sickness." I said sniffing. "I'm just worried he will be just like his grandfather." I said breaking into tears. "I will do what I can to help my cousin." Dain promised. "Thank you very much, Milord." I said getting up from the chair. "Wait where are you going?" Dain asked. "I have to go back to the mountain, maybe there is no time left for Thorin and the others." I said. "We will be heading to Erebor, you should rest lass." Dain said.
