It was dark the next time I woke up and when I walked outside I saw Bard, his two daughters Sigrid and Tilda standing near the door. "What is going on? Where are the others?" I asked sleepily. "That is a very good question," Bard said who came closer. "I have nothing to do with this, Thorin told me to get some rest and the next thing I know is that they are gone." I snapped at Bard. "I'm leaving," I told Bard and his kids, with a swing I turned around walking back into the bedroom. I was really mad at Bard and Thorin who just left me here. When I lifted my cloak I noticed a piece of Paper laying underneath it.

My Love,

I am so sorry for leaving you with Bard, you were sleeping so peacefully, I wanted to let you rest. We will get weapons and meet you on the outskirts of Laketown. I Love you and I hope you won't be mad at me.

Thorin

I read the note, in the next minute I had a smile on my face. I quickly took my stuff, when I left the house I heard voices talking in the distance. With a big jump, I was on the roof of the neighbor's house but I couldn't see anything so I kept moving until I finally saw a big house in the middle, when I came closer I saw Thorin and the others standing in the middle surrounded by guards and villagers. With one swing I jumped down the roof landing in the middle kicking one of the guards taking away his sword. "Don't Move Asshole." I snapped pointing at the guards with my back to my companions. "Who are you?" One of the men asked and when I turned around I saw the douchy-looking guy next to a well-dressed man. "If you mess with me? I'm your worst nightmare." I told him. "That's my Girl," Thorin whispered next to me making me smile. "She is a feisty One Sire." The douchy guy said to the man next to him. Thorin laid his hand on my arm asking me to lower the sword, which I did but I didn't give it back to the guy I disarmed. "We are the dwarves of Erebor. We have come to reclaim our homeland." Thorin said after he turned around to face the man which I knew thanks to Bard he was the Master of Laketown. The Villagers around us murmur to each other. "I remember this town in the great days of old. Fleets of boats lay at the harbor, filled with silks and fine gems. This was no forsaken town on a lake. This was the center of all trade in the north!" Thorin said to the villagers. "I would see those days return. I would relight the great forges of the dwarves and send wealth and riches flowing once more from the halls of Erebor!" He shouted and the Villagers cheered even more. "Death! That is what you'll bring upon us." Bard yelled when he joined the villagers pushing his way through towards us. "Dragonfire and ruin. If you awaken that beast, it will destroy us all." Bard snapped. "Listen, if you want to get in our way. Fine but you will regret it." I snapped at him.  "All of you! Listen to me, you must listen! Have you forgotten what happened to Dale? Have you forgotten those who died in the firestorm? And for what purpose?" Bard said ignoring what I told him. "The blind ambition of a Mountain King, so riven by greed, he could not see beyond his own desire!" he told Thorin but I stepped in between them. "Shut up you have no idea what he went through." I barked at him madly. "Now. Now. We must not, any of us, be too quick to lay blame. Let us not forget, that it was Girion, Lord of Dale, your ancestor, who failed to kill the beast. Hm!" The Master of Lake-Town said. "It's true, Sire. We all know the story. Arrow after arrow, he shot. Each one missing its mark." The douchy guy said. "You have no right. No right to enter that mountain." Bard said after stepping closer towards Thorin. "I have the only right." He replied when something touched my hand but it was just Thorin who wanted to hold it. Together we turned around to face the Master of Laketown. "I speak to the Master of the men of the lake. Will you see the prophecy fulfilled? Will you share in the great wealth of our people?" Thorin asked but the Master hesitated. "What say you?" Thorin asked the Master. "I say unto you...welcome!" The Master said and the whole crowd cheered. "Welcome and rise! Welcome, King Under the Mountain!" he added. I turned around to the man I disarmed and passed him his sword. "I'm sorry to disarm you and kicking you," I said. "Don't worry Miss," he replied. I gave him a short smile before turning towards Thorin. "The Master is giving us rooms to sleep and a big feast tonight," Thorin told me while we followed the Master into the huge building. "Whoa, you can't go in there, it's for the king." The douchy guy said just as I was about to enter Thorins Room. "I'm so sorry to disappoint you Alfrid. Thorin and I stay together." I said with a smirk before I pushed his arm away and entered the room closing the door behind me. He was standing with the back towards me at the window. Quietly I walked up to him and slung my arms around his waist. "Hey, beautiful," Thorin said when he noticed me. "Hey, Gorgeous," I replied with a big smile. "Are you ready for the feast?" he asked me and I nodded.
