Dain and I fought and fought when my energy and strength weakened I tried to keep on fighting but slowly my body refused to work. I was covered in blood, dirt, and sweat. I had the feeling that it never ends, more and more orcs came our way. "Nessa, watch out," Dori yelled behind me. "Noo Dori," I yelled back when an Orc pierced his sword through his body. "Dori," I yelled when walked up to him kneeling next to him. "Nessa," he said almost whispering. "I'm so sorry Dori, I tried but I failed," I said taking his hand into mine. "You didn't fail Nessa, it was nice to meet you and travel with you," Dori said making me tear up. "I don't want you to go," I told him. "But I will and it's OK don't worry about me," he replied. "Tell my brothers how much I love them," Dori added. I nodded while even more tears streamed down my face. Dori breathed out, his eyes went glassy. "Dori?" I asked but he was gone. I cried even more until my eyes dried out. Suddenly my mood went from grief to mad. I got up and took my sword which I had laying next to me. With a scream, I ran towards and Ork and slashed his head off. Running towards the next and the next I slashed and stabbed when something hit my leg, with a short scream I ignored the pain trying to continue my path even tried to run a few meters but the arrow in my leg stopped me. I pulled it out and bind my leg with a piece of cloth from my tunic. "You asshole," I growled towards the dead Orc in front of me. "Hey kiddo I need some help," Dain called, I walked over to him, helping him to kill the Orcs he had trouble killing. "Yer alright Kiddo?" Dain asked me. "Well I'm wounded and just lost a friend," I said in a sad tone. "I'm sorry about that," he replied. "Thank you, Lord Dain," I said with a slight nod. An Orc tried to sneak up on me but I heard him and killed him when something flew over us, when I looked up I saw an eagle flying over us. I was glad to see them since they had helped us once before when attacked us after we had crossed the Misty Mountains. Thanks to the Eagles we won the battle but with a lot of wounded and dead friends. I met up with the others who stayed on the battlefield. "Nessa, have you seen Dori? We can't find him." Nori asked me. He walked towards me with Ori. "I'm so sorry lads, guess I have some bad news for you." I said and again tears streamed down my face. "No, No No," Nori yelled, making me cry. "I'm so sorry I tried to safe him." I quietly said towards Ori who stood in front of me crying. Somebody touched my shoulder and when I looked to the side I saw Balin who stepped next to me. "Where are Dwalin and the others?" I asked him. "I don't know, we separated almost halfway to Ravenhill," he explained. "I have a bad feeling," I mumbled looking towards a huge tower. A neigh made me turn around. "Brego," I said with sight and limped towards my brave stallion. "I'm gonna look for Thorin, Dwalin, Fili, and Kili," I called after them while I mounted Brego. "Look if anybody is missing," I called behind me while I rode off towards the Tower but I had to be careful since it was super icy and slippery. When I was just underneath the tower I dismounted Brego and walked the rest of the way by foot even though I limped not walked. "Thorin, Dwalin," I called when I was almost at the Tower. "Fili, Kili Boys. Come on I don't want to play Hide and Seek with you." I yelled. All of a sudden I heard steps coming closer towards me. I lifted the Sword but when I saw the dwarf coming towards me I was relieved. "Nessa, you have to come quick," Dwalin called me. I was happy to see him but also worried about what happened. "What is it Dwalin?" I asked him. "It's Thorin, he is badly wounded," he replied, my heart pounded, so I followed him as good as I could to the Ravenhill. On the icy surface of the lake was a lot of blood and on the far corner of the lake, I saw a body laying with somebody kneeling beside him. I ran or better hoppled closer, when I was close I saw Bilbo talking to Thorin. "Thorin, oh my god what happened?" I asked him kneeling next to him. "I fought against Azog and killed him," he replied breathing heavily. "Let me see Bilbo," I asked him, he removed his hands making me look into several severe wounds. "Oh Mahal," I whispered only for Bilbo to hear. "It's bad isn't it?" Bilbo whispered. "Yeah," I replied. "What is it, Nessa?" Thorin asked. "I'm sorry Babe, I wish I could have better news," I told him. He tried to reach my face with his fingers but it was painful I could see it. "Don't Thorin, safe your strength," I said quietly. "I want you to know that you are the best thing that happened to me," Thorin said making me shake my head. "Why are you saying that?" I asked him while my eyes tearing up. "I'm dying Nessa, my Wounds are too severe I can feel it. My body is getting weaker and weaker," he said. "No, where is Oin? can somebody get him?" I said looking towards Bilbo and Dwalin who were standing close by. "No Nessa I won't make it," Thorin said taking my hand. "I want you to live a happy life, here or were ever your hearts leading you," he said, making me cry even more.
