The following day, around midday, we reached Mirkwood Forest. I was scared because I knew if I met Thranduil, the king of the elven realm, I would most likely be dead. "It's not a good idea," I mumbled. "Nessy, Hon, what is going on? Why don't you want to go through Mirkwood?" Thorin asked next to me. I ruffled and turned my head. "13 Years ago, while traveling, I encountered Orcs, and they chased me through Mirkwood. Thanks to the Elves, I was able to escape, and just three years ago, again, I got chased, but this time, they captured and tortured me. Since then, I have this Scar." I told him, lifting my shirt where I had a long, ugly scar. "I'm so sorry about it, Babe. I won't let that happen to you again," said Thorin. I gave her a little smile. "Thank you," I replied in a calm voice. "Set the ponies loose. Let them return to their master. I believe you should let Brego go, too." Gandalf said when he returned to have a look around. "You're right. I think it's the best," I replied as I dismounted Brego. "Go with them, bud. It's for the best," I muttered into Brego's ear. With the last kiss on his nose, I sent him off. Brego stopped briefly, but I just turned around, walking into the forest with the others. "Not my horse. I need it!" Gandalf said, walking towards the horse he rode towards her. "You're not leaving us?" Bilbo asked Gandalf. He turned to Bilbo. "I would not do this unless I had to," Gandalf replied. "I'll be waiting for you at the overlook before the slopes of Erebor," Gandalf said. "Keep the map and key safe. Do not enter that mountain without me." Gandalf added toward Thorin. "You must stay on the path. Please do not leave it. If you do, you'll never find it again, no matter what may come. Stay on the path!" Gandalf called after us while he rode off on the horse. "Come on, we must reach the mountain before the sun sets on Durin's Day. Let's go. we've got but one chance to find the hidden door." Thorin said while he walked to the forest entrance, pulling me with him. I don't know how long we walked. The air was getting thicker and thicker until it was super hard to breathe. We followed Dwalin for a while. who knew where we had to go? "Air?I need air." I said, noticing my vision getting blurry. Everything was spinning in from before. "My head, it's spinning! What's happening?" Oin asked behind me somewhere. We kept walking. soon, we didn't know what time it was or which hour. "Where are we? Which direction do we need to go?" Nori asked. "Let's keep moving," Thorin called back. "I can't breathe," I said, seeing everything black before me. Then I woke up. I noticed the white stuff around my body, and then I could see the spider approaching me. God, I hate spiders, I thought when that foul animal grabbed me with his claws and dragged me behind her. I was still too dizzy from whatever hit me. Slowly, the drug wore off when I saw that I was dangling from a tree branch. "Easy Nessy. I'll get you out." A familiar voice said. I turned, and Bilbo was on the tree branch above me. "Don't worry, you'll be safe," he whispered; the next thing I knew, I was flying through the air. When I landed, I landed pretty softly on the ground. "Are you OK, Nessy?" Dwalin asked who appeared next to me. "Don't call me that," I growled, trying to get on my feet. I was still shaky. "What the hell is going on with my legs?" I asked when I noticed my legs shaking. "Don't worry. It will be gone soon," he said while he helped Thorin to his feet, too. "Where is Bilbo?" Bofur asked. "Up here." I heard Bilbo shout back. Through the screaming, more spiders came, and soon we were surrounded by spiders. I was fighting against a spider when I sunk into it. "Thanks, Kili," I said with a smile when I saw the young dwarf. the dwarf threw a knife, which killed the spider. "For you always, Aunty." he replied; I glared at him. "Don't call me that." I snapped. I quickly pulled the dagger from the Spider Kili just killed and threw it behind the young dwarf. He smiled when he saw the spider, but I always killed the next spider. "Dwalin! Kill it! Kill it!" Thorin yelled in front of me. I immediately saw the Spider. I grabbed an arrow from my quiver, shooting it down with my bow. "Thanks, Babe," Thorin said with a smile. "You're Welcome, Baby," I replied with a smile. "Fili." I heard Kilo scream. I knew he was in trouble. "Gotta go, get the kid out of trouble," I said and ran off, but Fili managed to kill it. "Come on, keep up!" Dwalin said to the three of us. "Clear!" Thorin yelled in front of us while I kept the flanks clear. Suddenly, a Spider fell in front of me, an arrow stuck in the skull. I immediately knew this wasn't one of my arrows. The next moment, another Spider swung herself down but shor with another arrow. Shit, I thought when I saw the blond Elve swinging down, landing in front of us. "Do not think I won't kill you, Dwarf. It would be my pleasure," he said. I knew who he was. It was Legolas, the elven prince. I had known him since he was the one who captured me 13 Years ago, ordered by his father. he wasn't involved in the torturing. That was all Thranduil who did it with pleasure.
