~Chapter 3~

*Sam p.o.v*

I heard footsteps growing closer and closer to me. My heart began racing. I took out my flashlight, and I shone it to where I heard the footsteps.

"Aghh!" I heard the person say

"S-sorry" I said

The person came up. It was a boy. I think maybe around my age. He had dark brown chocolate hair, with light blue tips at the front, and has beautiful blue eyes.

"It's fine" He said smiling

'Even his smile is beautiful. He is like an angel that fell from heaven.' I thought

"Do you come here often?" The stranger asked

"Uhm. y-yeah al-al-almost ev-every nig-night" Why am I stuttering so much?

"Do you always stutter like that?" He asked

"Som-sometimes" I said, looking away from him

"By the way, my name is Colby. Colby Brock" He told me

"S-Sam G-Golbach" I said looking back at him, smiling, and I could feel myself blush a bit

"Are your cheeks going red cause it's cold outside, or cause you're looking at me?" Colby said grinning

"W-why d-do you as-ask so ma-many que-questions?" I asked him

"Cause I feel like it" he laughs

"Whe-when did y-you star-start com-coming he-here?"

"A week ago, what about you?"

"Almost 3 weeks" I said

"Hey!! You didn't stutter!" Colby said smilingly ((holy sh*t my cringiness 🤦‍♀️😂))

"It goes on and off" I told him with a smile and shrug

"Well hopefully next time we talk you don't stutter" He smirked

"We'll see" I teased

"Hey Sam? Wanna exchange numbers so that we can text?"

"Sure thing!"

I put my name as "Sammy<3" and Colby put his as "Brock<3"

I looked at my phone and saw that the time was 8:45pm

"Holy sh*t!"

"What is it!?" Colby said standing up

"We've been here for over 2 hours!" I said

"You f*cking scared me you little son of a b*tch!" Colby said slapping me on the shoulder playfully

Once he did that, I got a flashback of when Brennen and Jake were beating me up today, yesterday, and every single day of the week, while Tara and Devyn laughed at me, and cheered them on. I started crying

"Sam? Are you ok?" Colby asked and went to hug my back, I winced when he did that. Then I jumped right up, pushed passed him, and ran out to the parking lot, I knew Colby was following me cause I could hear panting and footsteps behind me. I quickly got in my car, then drove off back to my house, crying.

*Colby's p.o.v*

What did I do? I'm so confused. Does he not like me? Maybe he has heard of what I've done to people in the past. Guess I will go back home now.

On the drive back to my house, I saw Sam, he was standing outside a house with this guy, and some girl. She looked at my direction, and she said something, then pointed at me. I quickly drove away from them.

Once I got home, I went straight into bed, I didn't even get changed; just hopped into bed, excited, but nervous for the next day.

'What if Sam goes to this school?'  Was the last thought that came into my mind before I fell asleep.

Heyyy! I know this chapter is a bit short, but some chapters I want to make for specific moments. So next chapter, will be Colby's first day at his new school. And also, just incase you were wondering, Both Sam and Colby, live alone...

Also this is the 3rd chapter I posted today... I don't know if I should be concerned, or not...
