Zach finishes the food and Jack helps him set the table.

Christina sits down on her seat and Zach serves everyone.

"I think it needs a bit more of salt, but you tell me." He mutters before taking a bite at it.

Jack takes a bit and hums delighted.

"This is delicious."

"And you never ate his pastries. Shit's delicious." Zach blushes lightly.

"Oh shut up... they're not that good."

"Sir it's a piece of heaven on Earth." They chuckle.

"How is this food so good?"

"It's a secret recipe I invented."

"Bullshit I was watching you cook."

"I snuck in the ingredients when you weren't looking. Duh."

"This is so good. I'm gonna move in."

"Nope, out of question, in fact you're leaving after-"

"The movie we're gonna watch together." Zach sends Christina a murderous glare.

"If he leaves after lunch, I'll bake you two chocolate cakes. You know how I bake them. With the chocolate dripping in the middle."

"Damn... I'm not giving in." Christina munches on the food.

"Really? Just when we have whipped cream to put on top." Christina breathes in and out.

Jack was licking his lips at the thought of the cake.

"I'll pay you one hundred dollars for the cake." The best friends stop the conversation.

"Excuse me?"

"You heard me right. A hundred bucks for the cake." Zach looks at him confused.

"You're willing to pay a hundred bucks for a cake?" He nods excitedly.

"Shit, you're the business woman." He looks at Christina.

"He'll do it."

"Another thing you're from Pennsylvania right?"

"How'd you know?"

"Accent." Zach looks at Christina and she nods.

"What?"

"Huh?" They say confused.

"You sent her a look and she nodded."

The doorbell rings. Zach gets up and opens it.

"Package for Mr. Goldblum." Zach's eyes light up.

"It's me."

"Sign here please." Zach signs it.

"And your number here, because you're cute." Zach giggles.

"Thanks, but no thanks." He closes the door.

"It's here! It's here!" He runs to the kitchen and moves his plate aside.

He grabs a kitchen knife from under the table and opens the package.

He opens the little box and takes off his earrings.

Zach puts on the new earrings.

"So?" He displays the earrings.

"They look amazing on you bubs! And the cross is just killing the whole look."

"Thanks bubs...I ordered something for you ya know."

"You didn't have to."

"Remember that necklace you were craving for weeks?"

"You didn't."

"I didn't. I bought you earrings instead." He shows her.

"They look so sick! Dude, I'm gonna cry."

"Like the small surprise silly?" She nods as tears fall from her eyes.

"Don't cry love. C'mon, you're gonna make the food salty."

"You bitch." They chuckle. "I hate your gay ass." They laugh some more.

"Let's keep eating dumb-o."

Jack was watching the scene with a small smile. They look adorable.

Christina plops down on the couch and Zach lays down on top of her.

"Get that fat ass off of me!"

"First time I heard that." They laugh.

"I'm gonna beat your ass."

"You won't." Christina smacks his butt.

"Jack pick him up! He's killing me." The curly head grabbed Zach by the waist and easily lifted him.

"Holy shit!" He grabs onto Jack's hands, scared he's gonna fall. "I'm gonna fall down and break my face and loose my job because I'm not pretty anymore!" He closes his eyes and covers his face.

Jack puts him down gently while chuckling.

Zach gets up and walks to the kitchen to grab the lollipops.

He throws one at Jack.

"Thanks."

"You're welcome." Zach plops down on the couch in between Christina and Jack and pops the lollipop on his mouth.

Christina plays the movie.

***

The movie was halfways and Christina fell asleep on Zach's shoulder and the brunette was almost falling asleep too, but he can't. Jack's still here.

"You can sleep. I won't go through your stuff. This movie is way too good." Zach looks at him, his eyes barely open. He rubs his eyes with his free hand.

Jack briefly wondered how he could go from being unbelievably sexy to unbelievably cute.

"I'm not sleepy. I'm just...tired...yeah, I'm just tired." Jack rolls his eyes.

Christina stirrs a bit and groans in pain.

"Is she okay?"

"She has really bad cramps." Zach puts his hands on her lower belly and starts massaging it. She relaxes almost immediately.

"How are you guys not dating?"

"Because I think of her as my sister...and you can't date in our business."

"What do you mean?"

"You really think I'd be flirting with other people when I have someone? Someone who deeply cares and loves me? I'm loyal."

"But wouldn't they know you're theirs and theirs only?"

"But wouldn't it be an excuse to end a relationship? Saying I play too much. I'm not a player."

"You're definitely not a player."

"See? People don't take the time to know me and start assuming shit. They always do." He sighs.

"I never cheated on her ya know...and I'm telling the truth...she never wanted me, she just wants my body and my money."

"Let them see your naked soul before your naked body."

"That's actually really good advice."

"Don't get used to it, he's a dumb bitch." Christina mutters groggily.

"Bitch I'm taking care of you."

"Don't stop! It's helping." Zach nods.

"But now for real. If she doesn't want what's up here." He points at his head. "She ain't the one."

Jack nods and gets lost in thought.

He and Gabbie have been dating for a two years. He doesn't remember a time where they both sat together and just watched a movie together...or when he helped her with her cramps. He does remember the fights and the slaps he received from her. Maybe he's right. She isn't the one.
