And that night they cuddled themselves to sleep, a soft smile on their faces, yet with a sad undertone. The best friends were sad they were gonna have to split up in a few hours.

So they were seizing every moment they were alone, because they didn't know when would the two of them would be just the two of them.

Sure they promised each other they'll call every day but it's not the same thing as being face to face.

That morning they woke up and hugged. Packed their things again and ubered to the airport, holding each other's hand. The people from outside probably assumed they were dating.

They got on the plane and Christina fell asleep on Zach's shoulder.

They landed safely and went to the second house, where Zach packed a few of his belongings. Christina promised she would drop by and bring the rest of his clothes, his picture of him and his siblings and of course his teddy bear, Chubs.

"No, no, no I have time, I'll speed there and pick them up." Christina nods and Zach speeds to their home and gets the picture and the teddy bear. He sets the letter on Christina's bed.

He speeds back to the house and sees a black car, waiting.

He gets out his car and Jack comes out of the black car.

"Ready to go?"

"I just need to finish packing." He says quietly.

He runs to the house and packs the rest of the things.

"He's here." He looks down.

"I'm gonna miss falling asleep on your shoulder bro."

"I'm gonna miss driving to the store to get you chocolate and pads." They chuckle, some tears falling from their eyes.

They walk to the door in silence. Zach opens the door and sees Jack leaning against the car, the trunk wide open.

Zach puts the luggage there and closes it.

"Ready to go?"

Zach hugs Christina tightly.

"I love you so much pumpkin. Call me if you don't feel safe okay?"

"I love too bubs. I'll miss you so much." She tightens her hug.

"I gotta go pumpkin. I'll call you tonight okay?" She nods.

"I'm ready." He wipes his tears.

Jack signals him to get in the car.

Zach waves at Christina until she can't see him anymore.

Jack goes to casually lay his hand on his thigh, but Zach slaps it away.

Jack sighs and speeds to the house.

***

Zach gets in the house.

Jack starts walking up some stairs, probably to the room he was gonna stay in.

"You're staying with me in my room."

"What!? So I'm forced to be here and can't even have some privacy?" He scoffs.

"The bed's big." Jack simply says as he opens the door to his room.

"Put your clothes on the closet, we're going out to lunch." He sighs.

"Loose that face, you're staying with me on my bed, it's a blessing." Zach scoffs.

"I don't have another face and are you sure it's a blessing staying with you?" He starts unpacking his things.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Are you seriously asking that question?"

"Yes I'm seriously asking that question!"

"I had to shorten the trip to my family because of you! I haven't seen them in three years and I only spent two hours with them! You took me away from my best friend and you still tell me to drop my face and say it's a blessing staying with you!?

She's probably gonna cry herself to sleep because you caused all this shit show!" Zach says angrily, unpacking his stuff aggressively.

Jack nods and walks out silently.

A knock on the door was heard.

"Cupid?" It was Corbyn.

"Come in." The blonde gets in quietly.

"Hey dude. How are you?"

"I miss her already. She was crying when I left dude." He wipes a tear that escaped his eye.

"Do you want a hug?" Zach nods and hugs Corbyn.

"You're gonna listen to me closely okay? There's twenty guards on this house and they all guard the front door at different times. If you befriend at least one, he'll let Sage in no problem." Corbyn whispers on his ear.

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I can tell you mean a lot to Sage and she means a lot to you. You're a damn good team, but Jack didn't realize that, yet...and if it does you any good I'm on your side." Zach tightens his hug.

"Thank you Corbyn, you'll be perfect for her."

"She's already perfect to me." They smile softly as they part the hug.

Corbyn left the room.

Zach keeps unpacking his clothes and he comes across a Polaroid of him and Christina. He smiles softly.

Zach dials her number and waits for her to pick up.

"Bubs?"

"You gave me a polaroid of us two?"

"Yeah, to remind you who's your bestie. How's it going so far?"

"I don't even have my own room...I'm gonna have to sleep in the same bed as him."

"Oh bubs..."

"Are you ready?" Daniel asks as he pops his head in the room.

"In a few." Zach answers him.

"I gotta go pumpkin, call you when I can okay?"

"Love you."

"Love you too." He hangs up.

"Put on pretty clothes."

"What's wrong with this?"

"You look like a slob." Zach rolls his eyes.

"Boo-o. So sad." He finishes unpacking.

"Just because you're his new fucktoy doesn't give you the right to act like an entitled bitch."

"What are you gonna do about it huh? Shoot me? Do it." He smirks.

Daniel groans and leaves the room.

Zach scoffs and sets the picture of him and his siblings on his nightstand and hides Chubs on his luggage.

He grabs the Polaroid and walks downstairs.
