The morning passed and Zach was smiling already. They were on their way to the second house, laughing like crazy.

The blonde honks the horn and Zach's smile faltered. This of course didn't go unnoticed by his bestie.

"Hey Zachy, look at me... don't cry for him. He doesn't deserve you. You're the baddest bitch I ever met okay? He's nothing compared to you...and if he tries to kiss you again, you stab him sis." He chuckles.

"Thanks for lifting me up Chrissy. I love you."

"I love you too, now get that fat ass on that seat and show him what you're made of." Zach nods and pecks her forehead.

He gets in the car.

"Feeling better?"

"Yeah. Thank you so much, I was really needing some cheering up." He smiles softly. Daniel drives off.

"I'm sorry for being a dick to you a few days ago...I was completely wrong about you."

"I forgive you...and sorry for holding you at gunpoint by the way."

"I kinda deserved that." They chuckle.

Daniel stops at the gang house.

"I bought you a shirt, to pretend you actually went shopping with me."

"You didn't have to Daniel."

"Yes and did, and call me Dani." Zach smiles softly.

They get out of the car and the front door is slammed open.

"You're a dick! I hate you! Go fuck yourself Jack Avery!" The girl looks to the side and paces to Zach.

"It's your fault!" His eyes widen. "He choose you over me! Me!"

"What's your name?"

"Gabriella."

"Look Gabriella...he doesn't deserve you, sis you're a bad bitch. Cut the toxics from your life and don't shed any tears because of him okay? Be the bigger person." She girl suddenly hugs him.

"Thank you. You're a real one." She takes out a pen from her purse. "Here's my number, text me if you need anything." She pecks his cheek and walks away.

"How do you do it?" Daniel asks shocked. Zach shrugs.

They get in the house and Zach quickly types in her phone number.

"Hey Cupid, didn't know you were with Dani."

"He took me shopping...I was kinda needing it." He smiles softly and Dani discreetly winked at him.

Jack looks at him and smiles softly.

"Can I talk to you? Alone?" He asks.

"Make it fast." Jack starts walking to his room and Zach followed him. His gun on his waistband, ready to attack.

They get to their bedroom and Jack pats the seat next to him.

"I'm good here. What do you want?"

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me yesterday. I wasn't thinking clearly and I made you uncomfortable and went over the line... I'm so sorry. Can you forgive me?"

"Jack, I'm gonna give you your final warning. If you ever pull some shit like that I'll shoot you dead and take over your gang. Jack, you're playing a dangerous game with me."

"I'm sorry...friends?"

"Acquaintances for now." Jack nods.

"I...I bought you something." The curly head takes out a silver chain.

"Why?"

"It was a backup plan in c-"

"I'm gonna stop you right there and say that I don't like when people buy forgiveness. Actions are much more valuable than assets."

"Then think of it as a gift. Not a forgiveness gift, but a gift I randomly bought for you." He smiles nervously.

"Why would you randomly buy me a gift?"

"Because you deserve it?"

"Put it on my nightstand, I'm gonna go to the meeting room and I'm gonna chill for a bit." Jack nods.

"We have a meeting in an hour."

"Oh... I'll just...explore the house I guess."

"Want me to show you around?"

"You need to get ready for the meeting, it's probably important."

"I have time."

"Okay...I need to get my stuff from Dani's room though."

As if on cue, a knock was heard on the door.

"Cupid, you left your stuff at my room." Daniel smiles.

"I was just gonna get them, thanks dude."

"No problem." Daniel hands him the teddy bear and the picture.

"Where's the gun?" The blonde smirks and hands him the gun safely.

"Pleasure doing business with you sir."

"Pleasure's all mine sir." Daniel bows and closes the door.

Zach sets the picture on the nightstand, the teddy bear on the bed and the gun underneath the pillow.

"A teddy bear?"

"My childhood teddy bear, Chubs. He's real cute and he's my boyfriend." They chuckle.

"And the gun?"

"You can never be too safe in a gang house."

"Picture?"

"My siblings and me, they're getting so big..." Jack looks down.

"I'm sorry for cutting short your time with them."

"No, it isn't your fault I only spent two hours with them...I just wish it was more." He smiles sadly.

"I'm sorry."

"Let's go." They get up and Jack starts showing him around.

Zach looks around getting starstruck.

"Holy shit this is big." He mutters.

"That's what she said." Zach nudges him.

"C'mon dude, really?"

"I'm more than a gang leader, I'm also the funny one." Zach rolls his eyes.

"I'm funnier." He smirks.

"Never heard you tell a joke."

"Gimme a few days, I'll be a goddamn clown." Jack chuckles and takes him to the backyard.

"You have a pool!?" Jack nods.

"It's real fun in the summer."

"Fuck summer, today's really warm. can I have a swim later?"

"Yeah, you can even invite Sage." Zach's eyes light up.

"Really?"

"Yeah, I'll join you guys after the meeting."

"I'm still gonna have lunch and wait for her."

"The meetings are long." Zach nods.

"I'mma go and get ready, you basically know the important spots at the house, you'll be just fine."
