*a week later*

Zach was still stuck on the basement, very much attached to the little girl but at least he had a plan.

"Today is the day baby... I'm gonna get the both of us out of here." He ties a knot on the improvised baby holder he made.

She giggles.

"Daddy is gonna say a lot of swear words but you can't repeat them okay?" She boops his nose and they both smile.

The door opens and Kingsley gets in.

"You're still with that kid?"

"Yes, it's a kid...I can't just leave Pearl alone... she's just a kid." The man rolls his eyes. "I see you don't like kids."

"Why have kids when you can have sex?"

"You can't look at her and say you don't want a mini version of yourself running around and giggling and kissing your cheek and hugging you."

"Ugh...made me hate kids even more." Zach rolls his eyes. "Get up."

"What? Why?" He holds the baby closer and the knife behind his back.

"Get up!"he yells, making her cry.

Zach starts clenching his jaw and gets up, his hold on the knife getting tighter.

"You made my baby cry." He says lowly as he makes the little girl fall asleep again.

"So what? It's just a stupid baby." He walks towards the man and smiles.

Kingsley raised an eyebrow.

Zach slit his throat with a quick slash.

"It's my beautiful baby girl bitch." He stabs him in the eyes and carves his brand on his forehead.

"It's okay baby, daddy killed the bad man...and now we're getting out of here and you're gonna meet your other daddy, like we talked about okay?"

Zach pecks her little head and pulls the necklace out of the dead body

He casually opens the door and the guards immediately point their guns at him.

"You belong to the Arcadia Lions."

"And who are you to tell us that?" He shows them the necklace.

"My name is Cupid, and I killed him. And I suggest you being nicer to Jack Avery's boyfriend." He grabs their guns and hides them behind his back.

"If anyone wakes my baby up, I swear to God I'll cut off their head."

Zach calmly walked up the stairs and more guns were ready to shoot him.

"Your leader is dead." He shows them the necklace. "Spread the news that you're part of the Arcadia Lions."

"Yes boss."

"Where's the garage?"

"Follow me." He complies and the man takes him to the cars.

"Thank you."

The man, out of nowhere, punches him, making Zach fall on the ground and Pearl to start crying.

Even with teary eyes, he got up, grabbed his knife and stabbed his stomach, twisting the knife after.

"You're gonna fucking die." He breaks his neck and slits his throat, not forgetting to carve his brand.

"It's okay baby, daddy's fine, let's go home okay?" He gets in the car and hot wires it.

Zach parks the park on his place and closes the door. Pearl was already fast asleep.

He slams open the door, making everyone run to the door and gasp.

"I'm home." He grins.

Everyone hugs him and Jack kisses him.

"What's that?" He smiles.

"I want you guys to meet Pearl...she was an abandoned kid...and I got attached because she calls me daddy and she's adorable. Look at her, she's beautiful...we can't just send her to a random family. Please, let's keep her."

"Are you sure we're ready for it?"

"Jack, look at her." He takes her off his hold and hands her to Jack.

"Pearly baby, wake up." He boops her nose and the little girl opens her eyes.

Jack looks at the girl and smiles and stares for a while.

"She's so cute... God I think I'm in love with her." The girl giggles.

"Oh my God... we're keeping her." Jack pecks her little chin.

"Can I hold her?" Christina asks.

"Sure." Jack hands her the baby.

"Hey there peanut, I'm your auntie Christina... you're really beautiful." Pearl turns to Zach and makes grabby hands.

"Okay baby, c'mere." The brunet slots her again on the holder.

"How did you escape?" Zach smirks and throws Jack the necklace.

"You killed him?"

"You're welcome."

"This is why I love you baby." Jack hugs him sideways.

"Daa-Dee."

"Yes baby?"

"Oh my God...that was adorable." She makes grabby hands to Jack and the curly head picked her up.

"I think she called Jack daddy."

"My heart...oh my sweet Pearl." He pecks her forehead.

Zach unties the improvised holder and straps it on Jack.

"There, turn her to us." Jack complies.

"How did you make this?" Christina asks, seriously curious.

"Gauze, a shirt, medical needle and thread." Daniel and Corbyn were making silly face to Pearl, making her laugh.

"For someone that can't sew, you did a really good job." She bends down to the little girl. "Yes he did." Christina pitched her cheek.

"Where's Ryan?"

"Kristin's place. Your parents are worried sick."

"Maybe I should stop by and say I'm alive."

"Maybe you should...and maybe you should pick up Bandito too."

"I need a shower and a change of clothes first. You guys need to feed her okay? Nothing too solid and pick a middle name for her okay?" He pecks her forehead and walks away.

The little girl pouts and makes grabby hands to Zach.

"Daa-Dee!"

"Yes baby?" She makes grabby hands again.

"I think she doesn't want you to leave her alone...and she kinda needs a new diaper."

"I'll go buy them...how old is she?" Jonah asks as he grabs the keys.

"Around two years old." Daniel nods.

"C'mon, Jo I'll go with you."
