"are you ready?" Zach asks, still a bit hoarsely. Christina nods.

He calls the Uber and it arrives a few minutes later.

They get in, greet the driver and speed off to the airport.

After dealing with everything they sit down on the airplane next to each other.

"We never were this silent." Zach mutters.

"I just wanna...seize the time I have left with you." Christina lifts the arm rest and hugs Zach.

"I'm here pumpkin. I still didn't left." She tightens her hold on him when she heard the word.

Zach only called Christina pumpkin when he knew something was gonna hurt him deeply.

"Miss, we're taking off, can you please buckle up?" She nods and parts away from the hug.

They got out of the plane and called another Uber.

"Smile Chrissy, I love your smile so much." Christina smiles softly.

"There it is." He pecks her cheek.

The Uber driver arrives and it takes him to their hotel. They walk to Zach's childhood place since it wasn't very far away.

Zach rings on the doorbell and Ryan opens up.

"Zach!" He hugs them tightly.

"Hey there dude." Ryan parts the hug and hugs Christina tightly. She smiles.

"You're taller than what I thought." She chuckles.

"Ryan who's at the- Zachary."

"Hey Mom, miss me?"

"Who's the girl?"

"I'm his best friend, Christina, pleasure to meet you Mrs. Herron."

"Can we come in?" Myta steps aside and they get in.

"Reesie Doodle!" He calls out the little girl.

She comes running down the stairs.

"Zachy Bear!"She hugs him tightly.

"Hey there cutie, I missed you." He picks her up.

"This is Christina, remember her from FaceTime?" She nods.

"You're pretty."

"You're a cutie too girly." She chuckles.

"What if we went on that ice cream trip I promised?"

"Hold it right there mister. They're my kids."

"They're my siblings. I haven't seen them face to face in three years mom. It's just an ice cream trip."

"I want them back in two hours."

"Shoes on bubbas, let's go for ice cream." He puts Reese down and the siblings put on their shoes quickly.

"Bye Mom." They walk out and Reese holds Zach's and Christina's hands. They smile at each other.

"C'mere and hook your arm in mine edgy guy." Ryan rolls his eyes and hook his arm.

They walk to the ice cream shop making jokes and just saying plain stupid things and for a minute, just a minute, the best friends forgot about what's happening in less than 48 hours.

"Good afternoon what can I get you?"

They order their ice creams and the four lay down on the grass in the park.

"Tell us a story."

"Okay, but you can't tell Mom about this one." They nod.

"Me and her were hiking because we're responsible adults-"  Ryan looses his shit and starts laughing.

"That was a good you, you being a responsible adult!" They laugh some more.

"You're mean."

"So we were hiking and Zach heard a noise. We turn around and see a baby bear. Zach went to pet it, like the responsible adult he is but I stopped him."

"Why?"

"Baby bears are cute!" Reese furrows her eyebrows.

"Because it was a baby bear. And it means the momma bear is close." They start chuckling.

"So I blink and I don't see Zach because he was already climbing a tree." They laugh.

"The momma bear appeared and I froze. She started sniffing me and I still wasn't moving. Then your brother had the idea of throwing a stick."

"The bears went running towards it and we just ran like crazy back to the car." They laugh.

"And that's why we don't hike."

Ryan's phone starts ringing.

"Yes mom?...okay." He gives the phone to Zach.

"Yes mom?"

"It's been two hours."

"Already?" He glances at his wristwatch.

"Yeah. I want them home now."

"Okay, geez we're at the park we'll be there in a few okay?"

"Hurry up." She hangs up.

"Time to get you two goofballs home."

"Already?" Reese pouts.

"Yeah, mom wants you guys home."

"Okay." Zach gets up and picks up Reese.

"C'mon bubbas, let's take you home."

"I'm gonna miss you guys so so so much." He hugs them tightly.

"Gonna miss you too."

"Keep on doing what I said okay?" They nod.

"I love you so so much." Christina hugs them too.

"You guys are the best." She mutters.

"I loved meeting you personally Teena." 

"Me too Ry."

They bid their goodbyes and Zach grabs Christina by the pinky to a tattoo parlor.

"What are doing here?"

"I don't know...what are we doing in a tattoo parlor?"

"Smartass." He's greeted by the receptionist and they hadn't anyone scheduled.

"Can you do this?" He takes a paper off his pocket and shows it to the tattoo artist.

"Yes I can, let me just clean it up." The woman walks to the table and draws the tattoo.

"Tell me what it is."

"Nuh-uh. It's a thing to make you remember me everytime you look at your arm."

"If it's a dick I'll beat your ass."

"It's going on my skin too asswipe."

"It's a matching tattoo? Zach nods.

"That is so cute."  Zach smiles and pecks her forehead.

"You'll love it bitch."

"Both are done, do you wanna see how they ended up?" Christina nods excitedly.

The woman cleans it and Christina looks at her.

"Partners in crime?"

"Do you like it?"

"With the arrow and the little heart...I-It's our brand."

"So?"

"I fucking love it so much." She hugs him tightly.

"Who's the best best friend in the whole damn world?"

"You. Love you my best best friend in the whole damn world." She laughs.

"Love you too my bestie." He smiles softly.
