"Baby wake up." Zach stirrs a bit.

"Babe.... c'mon get up." Jack shakes him.

"What?" He asks sleepily.

"Get up, I wanna see something with you."

He grabs his phone and winces when the bright light hits his eyes.

"Jack, it's...five a.m. what do you possibly want to see at five a.m.?"

"It's gonna be worth it. I'll even carry you there." Jack gets out of bed and puts a hoodie on.

"I don't know what's with you and waking up really early, but you need to drop that habit mister." Zach says groggily, yawning afterwards.

"It's just today, c'mon, get your cute butt up." Zach gets up.

"Do I need to put on pants?"

"Nope, you just need to come with me." They walk outside.

"What are we doing?"

"I want to see the sunrise with you." Zach hugs him.

"Babe...that's so sweet...I never saw a sunrise."

Jack sits down on a towel and waits for him to sit in the middle of his legs.

"There's a first time for everything." Jack pecks his cheek.

Zach looks at the sea and his mind starts wandering to the moments he spent with Jack.

The hugs, the kisses, the smiles, the stupid talks were everything to him. Zach was certain he was madly in love with Jack.

He loved everything about him; his blubbly personality, his stupid jokes, his smile, his small freckles, his soft lips that kissed him gently, his arms that held him always so closely, his hair that he loves to play with and make stupid hairstyles, his cute laugh...everything.

But was he ready to say the words?

"Baby, look it's rising."  Zach smiles softly.

"Absolutely beautiful." The brunette mutters.

"And he's all mine." Jack mumbles. Zach blushes.

"Stop being cute or I'm gonna have to kiss you really really hard." They chuckle.

"It's the truth babe, you're more beautiful than the sunrise." Jack pecks his head.

Zach turns to him and kisses him. He parts the kiss momentarily.

"I love you." He whispers with a big smile before connecting their lips again.

He was definitely ready.

Jack parted the kiss.

"What did you say?" He smiles.

"I said I love you Jack."

"I think I didn't hear what you said. Mind repeating it?" He grins.

"I love you." Zach smiles widely.

"I love you too babe." Jack kisses him and Zach pulls him more into him.

The curly head grabs his waist and his cheek and slowly lays him down on the sand.

"There's no headboard here Jack." They laugh.

"I accidentally make you hit your head on the headboard one time..."

"I'm just kidding, you know that." Zach pecks him. "But it's our little inside joke that only we get."

A little bark is heard.

"And that's our little puppy coming towards us." Zach gets licked across the face.

"Came to watch the sunrise too?" They sit up and Jack wraps his arms around him and pecks his cheek.

Jack had just fallen asleep on the sun when he heard some shuffling, but he didn't pay much attention to it.

Suddenly he felt something on top on him. And that thing was cold and wet.

He opens his eyes and sees his lover on top of him.

"Morning sunshine!" He pecks his cheek. Jack smiles sleepily.

"You're cold." He whines.

"I wanted to refresh you, you look like a dry raisin. Sleeping in the sun is dangerous bub."

"So is being on the sun without a hat."

"Think again." He shows him his bucket hat. Jack turns slightly around to see him in the hat.

"The hat looks really good on you."

"Thanks babe." He pecks his cheek and grabs the sunscreen.

He starts putting it on Jack.

"I did that already."

"You're getting red already...and there's still scratches on your back."

"I blame the last one on you."

"I blamed my limp on you but you said it was consensual."

"Okay damn, you win."

"Damn right, turn around." Jack complies with a bit of difficulty, since Zach was sitting on his butt.

He starts applying the sunscreen on his torso.

"Have you been working out?" He asks softly.

"No, but I should...I know I'm letting myself go." He sighs.

"It's not that, it's just...your chest looks bigger." His hands run all over his chest.

"Smooth babe, real smooth." Zach winks at him.

"But for real, it actually looks bigger...I think we need to buy you a bra." They laugh.

Zach bends down to kiss him.

"I love you." Jack pecks him.

"I love you too Jack." They smile.

Suddenly, Zach's phone starts ringing.

He furrows his eyebrows and checks the contact.

"What does my mom want?" He picks up. "Hello?"

"Zach you need to come home right now."

"What? Why?"

"Just get here as fast as you can."

"Why?"

"Me and your father have something to tell you."

"Can't it be over the phone? I'm on vacation...I literally got here yesterday."

"No, it can't. Hurry up." She hangs up.

Zach sighs and Jack holds his hands.

"C'mon, I'll go with you."

"Jack is this my family business, I don't need to drag you into this."

"I'm going with you because I care and love you...and I don't wanna be fifth wheeling." Zach smiles and kisses him.

"We'll be back here in a blink on an eye."

"I really hope so." They get up.
