After Supper, Cora went to the General room with her parents. The loud blasting wave of Irish music hit Cora as she walked in. She spotted Molly at a table nearby and ran to her.
"Hi Cora!" Molly exclaimed as Cora walked up to her.
"Wanna dance?" Cora asked her. Molly nodded. She grabbed Cora's hand, and they twirled around in circles together in the middle of the room. People clapped as they went. Cora felt as light and happy as a feather.
She was a little disappointed that Jack and Rose weren't there.
Cora hadn't seen Jack since Breakfast. He wasn't at lunch or supper, or at the party. But that wasn't going to stop Cora from having fun. After the song ended, Cora went to sit on her daddy's lap, Molly right nearby. They clapped along to the music, like other people did, watching people dance. Cora felt as if she had never had as much fun In her life.
Cora's eyes began to get heavy, and she stopped clapping.
Molly has gone back to her room, and Cora was half asleep on her Daddy's lap.
"Come on, Cora darlin, let's go to sleep now." Her daddy said.
Cora nodded, and took her Mama and Daddy's hand, and let them guide her back to her room.
Cora slipped her clothes off, put on her nightgown, and let her daddy toss her up on top of her bed, and tuck her under the covers.
There were only two days left of the journey
