The gleaming hot sun woke Cora up. She sat up on the hard chair, and looked at Rose and Jack. Jack was asleep, and Rose was staring st the waves. Cora relized she hadn't been asleep for long, they were still boarding other Titanic survivors.
Cora rose up slowly with her dolly gripped tight in her hand, and went to stand next to Rose.
Rose smiled when she saw Cora and grabbed hold of her hand.
She didn't say anything, neither did Cora. They both just stood there, held hands, and watched the waves.

Jack woke up after a while, and joined them, watching the waves.

Soon, someone came to them and gave them dry clothes. Cora recieved a pretty white dress, with a fresh pair of dry stockings. Cora put it on, just as the sun was setting.

Rose and Jack had received dry clothes too, and were about to go to the dining room to get some supper.
"Ready, Cora?" Jack asked, passing Cora her coat that was finally dry.
She put the coat on and took Jack's hand.

She sat at a long table with a white table cloth in the third class dining room.

Cora ordered bread and butter, she wasn't very hungry because she still missed her parents.
Rose and Jack both ordered potatoes, and Jack joked to Rose;
"Sorry, there's no Caviar in Third Class." .
Rose laughed and ate her potatoes.
Cora was quiet the whole time she ate.
Rose tried to lighten the mood with her by saying;
"Where would you like to go when we reach New York City?"
Cora just shrugged and looked down at her food.
"It won't run away from you!" Jack said pointing to her bread.
Cora let out a fake giggle and bit into her bread.
"Would you like to go to a candy store when we dock, Cora? I've heared there are very nice ones in the City." Jack said.
Cora nodded, feeling a bit excited, but still sad.

After supper, Jack, Cora and Rose made their way to their small Third Class cabin which was shared with three other people. They each had their own bed, but it was still very cramped.
"It's not very luxurious." Jack said joking to Rose.
Rose laughed and layed down on her bed. Cora layed on the bed on top of hers, and Jack was across the room on the other set of bunk beds.

Cora Immediately fell asleep, clutching her dolly.

In the middle of the night, Cora had a nightmare that the waves were chasing her and threating to kill her parents. Cora woke up and screamed;
"Mama!" And sprang up in her bed reaching for her mother.
Rose got up and hugged her, and Cora relized her parents weren't there, and weren't coming back.
She began to cry, and Jack came to Cora's side also. He brought over a black sketchbook with a small pencil and put it in Cora's lap.
Her face lit up when she saw it.
"But you left your sketchbook on the ship!" Cora said to Jack.
Jack and Rose laughed.
"Someone lended me this one, they knew I was an artist." He said.
Then Rose smiled and reached under her bed.
She took out a peice of paper and put it in Cora's lap.
Cora unfolded it and it was the picture Jack had drawn of Cora and her daddy the first day they were on titanic!
Cora really smiled now. She couldn't believe it. Rose had her drawing!
"How could you get it?" She asked Rose.
"Your daddy gave it to me when I was at the party with you and Jack." Rose replied.
Cora hugged her dolly and the drawing. Her doll looked just like her mother, and her daddy was in the photo. Her parents were with her after all. Cora smiled, and lay down again. She closed her eyes, clutching the items, and felt Rose and Jack smiling warmly down at her.
