I stood watching her sleep as she. She was my everything. My heart and soul. She was a girl version of me. And I couldn't understand why would someone abandon her....how could someone do that to any child of their own.

I walked into the kitchen seeing a note left on the counter.

I opened the fridge and grabbed my a protein shake. I grabbed a box of fruity pebbles cereal pouring it into the bowl and right on time Kairi walked in.

"Daddy where my mama." She asked rubbing her eye." She did this every morning. I mean she been with me for a whole month and I know she miss the evil bitch.

"She went on vacation Kai." I said  I sat the bowl info of her at the table and sat with her watching the game. Kai wasn't dumb. She was actually smart and shed be 5 soon. She knew her mama was doing bad things she just hasn't spoken up to talk to me yet. And I'm not gonna push her to.

"I love you Kai." I said.

"I love you dada!" She smiled.

After getting both of us ready I drove over to my moms to drop Kai off so I can head to work. "Yuuuur!" I walked into my tattoo shop.

"Wassup nigga!" Josh said. He was a close friend of mine, we go way back. I dapped him up going into my office. I sat there going over papers when Chi crossed my mind. She was beautiful as fuck. Dark golden skin, her curves was outta this world and she was sweet. After dinner we went back to my place and watched movies and that was that. I wanted to get to know her more, but I'll be seeing her real soon. A knock on my door interrupted my thoughts. "Hey Davey...your 3 o'clock is here." Dream said. She was fine but she wasn't Chi, plus Dream was a hoe.

"Thanks dream take em to my side please." I said.

I left the shop I was tired as hell I had 5 bodies to go and all wanted some big ass art pieces on the thigh and back. I stopped by my mom's to get Kai.

"Mama." I yelled walking in and she flew to the living room.

"Oh Dave it's okay let her stay you can go bye." She started to push me away. The fuck.

"Aight let me say bye to my baby, damn ma. What's wrong with you?" I said. Walked into the kitchen this bitch had the audacity to be in my mama house.

"Kairi Chanel go get ya bag mama." I said still staring at Dylan.

"Dave I just camed to see my child." She rolled her eyes.

"Your child..you mean the one abandon correct. Man get the fuck outta here, you don't give a fuck about her. Dylan stay away from her period." I yelled.

"Dave that's still her mama." My mom said.

"Okay and daddy still my daddy, and he ain't here right exactly. My daughter been through enough. And foreal mom u brought this bitch into your home. Kai could be dead because of her." I said I shook my head. Going upstairs getting Kai.

"Ion wanna leave with Mommy dada." She whispered. I put her hood on and walked out the house not saying shit to these people. My mama know she wrong always tryna play peace maker. But this situation she couldn't fix.

After getting Kai ready for bed, I sat on my balcony smoking. I was stressed enough. I was tryna expand my shop, move houses, and all. Today just wasn't it. I grabbed my phone scolling to Chi named pressing it.

Chi-"Hello"?
Me- hey mama wyd
Chi- nothing watching Twhat about you?"
Me- nothing I wanna see you so tomorrow I'm free we can check out the loft."
Chi- okay 12 sound fine?

After getting off the phone with Chi I ashed my blunt out and headed to bed, only to see kai climbing into my bed laying on my chest.

Such a daddies girl.
