I thought maybe this was all just a dream hopefully even a nightmare but after I realized that my arm that had been at my side was now broke. I know you can think you feel pain when you are dreaming but no one feels this much. I thought about singing myself to sleep so I would die more quickly but I couldn't even hear my own voice. I couldn't tell if my hearing was gone after a cement block hit my head or if everything was just so loud... I think I lost my hearing even the thoughts in my head are screaming at me and I can't hear them. Finally, my eyes closed and I drifted from all the pain to peace.I forgot why I was on the ground, I had no recollection of who I was, I just found myself standing in utter darkness for I don't know if I was a fearful person but the darkness didn't seem scary, it didn't look harsh or cold, it felt warm, soft and... Happy. I walked in hoping to find something that would tell me why I here. I felt a slight touch on my hand, soft, smooth and fragile. My voice couldn't be heard as I yelled in agony for that simple touch brought back the pain of my arm that had been shattered. My head felt like it was falling, it hit the ground, pain started rushing to its aid. All a sudden I could hear, every detail rushing into my head, people screaming voices yelling at one and other, they were so loud the darkness seemed to be shaking braking it's formed. I ran to catch up with it, I didn't want it to leave. My whole body fell in a crack, the force of it hitting the ground as my whole body ached was unbearable. Then I opened my eyes, lights blinded me, why did the darkness go? I heard shouting as it echoed through my ears,

 "Clear!" They shouted.

My whole body seemed to fly up as an electric shock coursed through it. So much chaos could only mean one thing... That sadly I wasn't dead.
