My brain hurt, or my mind did... I looked into the woman's eyes and tried everything not to look into her memory but I had no way of controlling what I knew how to do I was lost in the biggest void ever. I started to mess with things that should have never been touched I didn't want to leave until I found a DNA code or something. Somehow I scanned through and found it, I wasn't a scientist I had no way of knowing where to look for any of this. I let my mind take me where I thought I should go, I found something but was hit by a flood of memories. I was drowning in them but they weren't mine, it was like trying to unplug a supercomputer before a power surge comes and destroys everything, I started to panic I was still in her head. I pulled myself as quickly as I could. Within the next moment, I was back in the tinted black box sitting in a chair, the Dr looking at me, wide eyes and bluntly blinking. My breathing was heavy to heavy for my taste.

"What happened?!" He asked.

"I- I got lost, then I hit the memory core and panicked," I said.I looked over and the woman her head hung from her neck, her skin looked white.

"What did I do?!" I asked standing up and backing away.

The Dr walked over and placed his hand on my shoulder. "Hey, it's okay... It was your first time, you're relearning these things, but did you copy the DNA?" He asked.

"I- I don't know," I said still staring at the woman.

He turned my body to look at him. I snapped out of it and I was ticked. Then he smiled.

"Wow, you did it, you really found it," he said.

"Found what?" I asked.

"Her DNA!" He said seeming as if he gleamed with delight.

"How can you tell?" I asked confused.

"Your eyes changed to the color of hers," he said smiling brightly.

So that's how it works... What color of eyes for I originally have then? I looked over back at the lifeless body that hung in the chair.

"What about her, can she reheal herself?" I asked.

"That's not how it works, she could heal flesh wounds, but she died mentally," The Dr said turning to walk out of the room.I followed him not giving what I just did a second thought.

"How do I heal myself?" I asked.

"Think," he said and walked away to drop something off on a nearby table.I looked at my arm and then kinda glared at it. This was stupid all I had to do was think? I looked up at him as he came back this way.

"Wow, see you're already a pro," he said.

In confusion, I looked down and realized the skin on my arm was closing and meeting in the middle.

"How-" I managed to get out.

"Easy, your mind figures things out even when you think you're not thinking about them," he said winking at me.

"Don't ever do that again," I said rolling my eyes.

"Geez, well now that you have a rundown of your powers and a healing property in case you run into trouble Mr. Howard wants you prepped to continue the mission asap," he said walking back out of the large room back into the hallways.

"Now go back to your bedroom, a suitcase should be packed by now and read the note. I'll see you in a few months, Hope," he said taking off in a different direction.
