At dinner time, Tamara's father picked her up to go together.
-Good night daughter. You look beautiful.
-Thanks Dad. Let's go?
-Yes. Let's go.
When Irene arrived at the scene, her manager was waiting at the door.
-Good night, Irene.
-Good evening. Have they arrived?
-Yes. I was just waiting for you to come in.
-Then we will solve this soon.
As soon as Irene entered the restaurant, Tamara saw her. Her heart raced and she couldn't take her eyes off it until she got close to the table.
-Good evening everyone. Sorry for the delay.
-Imagine, it's still on time. Please sit.
When Irene saw where she was going to sit, I couldn't hide her nervousness. The chair the manager indicated was right in front of Tamara. But, she took a deep breath and sat down. He looked at Tamara and greeted her cordially:
-Hello.
-Hello.
-Well gentlemen and ladies, let's start the meeting then.
Tamara and Irene paid almost no attention to what was said. Less bad that the businessmen were there and could go over the subject later. Tamara was unable to take her eyes off Irene for a minute and Irene's discomfort faded as time passed, until she began to respond to Tamara's gaze and the two women stopped smiling at each other. They were interrupted by the voice of the Movistar manager:
-Well, I think everything is explained. We just need to sign the contract.
After they signed, Irene spoke to her manager and got up from the table. Tamara waited for her to reach the bathroom and excused herself to get up too.
Irene saw it in the mirror when Tamara entered. They exchanged looks, Tamara went to the sink, washed her hands and said:
-How long, isn't it?
-Yes. Quite.
-Working a lot?
-I am. Is that you?
-Too.
-Well, I think I'm going. We talk later.
- Do you have an appointment now?
-Not. Why?
-I thought, maybe, we could stay a little longer or go somewhere else to talk.
-You know. Do you prefer it right here?
- For me, it could be.
-Right. So we can stay.
-Great. I'll just let my dad know he can go.
-Yes. I'll say goodbye to my manager too.
After they said goodbye to everyone, Tamara chose a smaller table, more at the back of the restaurant. They sat down and the waiter came to bring the menus.
-Want to drink what? - Tamara asked.
-I think I want a wine.
-Can I choose?
-Yes. Please.
Tamara called the waiter and asked for a bottle of wine.
-Surprised me.
-Why?
-I thought you weren't going to accept my invitation.
-People change, don't they?
