Before starting recording, they agreed to take a different tour. They went to visit a shelter, play with the children and make a donation to help.

Once there, they talked to the director, agreed on the details of the donation and went to visit the children. As soon as they entered the room, the director warned that they were going to visit and the faces of the children turned to see them. Then, they walked to the tables and, before he arrived, a little boy came running to hug Irene. She bent down to look at him, clinging to her leg.

-Hi. All right?

-Yes, aunt.

-What's your name? - She knelt down to be his size.

-Alex.

-What a beautiful name! My name is Irene.

-You are beautiful! - He rubbed a hand over Irene's face, who, at that time, had her eyes full of tears.

-Thanks! You are handsome too.

-Thanks. - He turned to Tamara and took her hand - You are also beautiful, aunt!

-Thanks. My name is Tamara. - knelt down so he could see her better. - You are also beautiful, Alex.

-Thanks! - Tamara hugged and Irene could not stop the tears.

-Aunt, why are you sad? - Alex asked Irene.

-I'm not sad, I'm crying with happiness. Don't worry, okay? - said Irene, rubbing his head.

-Let's play?

-Come, yes. Just wait a minute, the aunt will wash her face and be back, okay?

-OK.

Irene got up, took Tamara's hand and left the room. When he arrived outside, she hugged Tamara and started to cry.

-Love, what is it?

She couldn't answer and kept on crying.

-Love, so I will cry too.

-Sorry... - said Irene, still crying.

-Irene, I'm getting worried. Calm down, breathe. Look at me.

Irene took a deep breath, dried her tears and tried to speak:

-Love, did you see that beautiful child? - cried again.

-Saw. - Irene's tears dried up - But, because you're crying like that, I didn't understand.

-How does someone dare to abandon a child? Tell me? - lay on Tamara's shoulder, crying.

-Baby, I don't know how to answer you. I do not understand either. - Made Irene look at her. - Did that remind you of anything?

-No. Is not it.

-Then tell me what it is. I still do not understand.

-Tam, you will think I'm crazy. - Took a deep breath - I want to adopt Alex.

-What? - She looked in Irene's eyes - Are you serious?

-I've never been so serious in my life. - Said, safely.

-Irene, this is a very delicate subject to make a decision like that.

-I know that's why I told you I was going to think I was crazy. But, you don't know what I felt inside that room. I can't explain it, but it was very strong.

-Love, I am not saying that you are crazy. I just want us to talk more about it. - She kissed Irene on the forehead - Look, let's go to the bathroom, you wash your face and we enter the room to play with the children. Then, calmly, we talk about it. All right?

-Fine. We will. Children must already be anxious. Thank you for the strength, love. If you weren't here to hold me, I don't know what would have happened. – kissed Tamara.

-I'll always be by your side. Never forget that.

After going to the bathroom, they returned to the room. When they entered, Irene took a deep breath, shook Tamara's hand and walked between the tables, answering the children's call to play with them. Tamara also did the same, but, while paying attention to Alex at times. She didn't want to tell Irene, but, she also felt something special about the boy.

After playing with everyone and saying goodbye especially to Alex, whom Irene made sure to hold and kiss, together with Tamara, they left the room, happy.

-Tam, before we go, can we talk to the director? I want to know more about Alex.

-Of course, love. But, let me tell you something before, now that you're calmer. I also felt...

-What?

-I felt something different when Alex came near us. I think he, for some reason, is special.

-Did you see? I said. Why didn't you tell me before?

-Because you were very nervous. I didn't want to make you any more upset.

-Tam, do you mean you want to adopt Alex too?

-We will talk better about it. But if I were to adopt, it would be him. No doubt.

-Thank you for agreeing with me, my love. I love you so much!

-I love you too! - kissed Irene.

They went to the principal's office and Irene asked:

-Can you tell me why Alex came to the shelter?

-Well, his parents abandoned him as soon as he was born.

-And is there a reason for that? They had no way of creating it, they had no money... Do you know why?

-He arrived here very young; he came straight from the hospital here. From what the nurses said, as soon as he was born the parents found out he had Down's syndrome and never wanted to see him again.

-What? - Irene started to cry.

-Love calm down. - Tamara hugged Irene. - It's not like that. - Tamara had teary eyes too.

-Well that's. Despite having this diagnosis, he is a healthy child. He is five years old and, even after our attempts; they never wanted to adopt him. I think it will be one of the children who will stay with us for a long time.

-Never! - Said Irene, wiping her tears - What do you need to do to adopt?

-Well, you have a list of documents to present, in addition to having to go through some evaluations. Anyway, it's a process.

-Understand. I'm not in the mood for this right now; I'm going to ask my lawyer to contact you. But, I will do whatever it takes to adopt Alex.

-We, love. - Tamara took Irene's hand - We are going to adopt Alex.

Irene smiled with emotion and was unable to say anything.

-Okay then. I await your attorney's call.

-Can I see you again?

-Clear. But, don't talk about adoption. We ask to say only when the process is complete.

-Yes of course. I won't say anything.

They left the room and went to the room where the children were. As Irene was still very emotional, Tamara thought it best that they did not enter the room. They stood at the door, looking at him, delighted.

-Lots of excitement for a day. - said Irene.

-We're back the other day, right? - Tamara said, hugging Irene from behind.

-Now we have one more reason to come. - said Irene, still looking at Alex.

-Such a cute reason. - Said Tamara, in a choked voice.

-Yes. Very cute! - She turned to Tamara - Are we ready?

-Do not know. But, let's find out together. - hugged Irene.
