Irene was beautiful, in a white jumpsuit. His smile was huge and his blue eyes shone with emotion.
She had to stop for breath when she saw Tamara; who was perfect in a black suit. And her honey-colored eyes, filled with tears, made Irene cry.
The two exchanged looks and smiled. Irene's mother went to find her and the two walked over to where Tamara and her parents were. They then walked down the corridor between the chairs; Fernando in the middle, holding hands with Tamara and Irene, who were holding hands with their mothers.
When they reached the front of the room, Fernando kissed each one on the forehead. Their mothers hugged them and they went to their places. They turned to face each other, holding hands, and looked at each other smiling. Irene asked for the microphone and, still holding Tamara's hand, said:
-What I'm going to say now is very cliché, but, I don't care. After all, we are already very different from the rest of the world every other day. We deserve to have our tacky and old-fashioned moment. - She said and laughed, making everyone laugh with her - I'm living today one of the happiest days of my life. It's your birthday, but I won the gift. In fact, every day I am privileged; for being able to sleep and wake up next to you, for sitting at the table with you, for watching a movie with you in my arms; or simply because I can keep looking at you. Because every moment with you is special. Having a person who supports you in all decisions, helps you not to be discouraged, gives you affection, makes you think when you are wrong, loves you without measure, it is something unfortunately rare today. But, I can say today, now, in front of all of our guests, that I met this person. - Stopped and looked at Tamara emotionally for a while - I'm looking at the most amazing person I have ever met. With whom I want to share all my days, every second, until the end of this life or as many lives as possible. Because I love you infinitely, my love.
