I’ve reached the treacherous peak
Lots of voices speak
Pushing me to follow what they think
My voice shrinks like a man with infirmityI’ve reached the treacherous peak
Assignments, grades lose meaning
Emotions, decisions take my concentration
My mood plummets, like a meteor onto earthI’ve reached the treacherous peak
Tears, plastic smiles cover me
A regular visitor's anxiety
Drowning me in uncertaintyI’ve reached the treacherous peak
Choices tabled before me
Do I fall? Do I stand? For people cheering
You can never choose too carefullyI’ve reached the treacherous peak
The peak of youth, how joyful
Strong winds urge me downwards
Falling's like the best optionAm I right? Or wrong to succumb?
