[name] winced when Michikatsu had doused the cotton ball with antiseptic and glided it over her wounds on her legs. She watched as he slowly dabbed around the area as well, blowing onto her wound to help ease the pain a little. His dark purple eyes were fixed on her wounds, for his priority right now was to ensure that she doesn't get any infection.

"How have you been?" he asked, and [name] dreaded for that question to leave his mouth. She then pressed her lips into a fine thin line as she didn't want to answer him just yet. Michikatsu then sighed as he looked up to her.

"I know... I know you're in a lot of pain," he whispered out as he started to bandage [name]'s knee. She winced slightly and soon he patted her knee to soothe the pain before tightening around it once more.

"I know... The trust you have for me is broken, because of the way you found out about the bet. But..." he whispered out, and [name] soon lifted her dark blue ocean eyes and looked at Michikatsu who was smiling slightly.

"Just so you know, I love you. I always have, even in the past as well," he whispered out and soon stood up, bending down. [name]'s eyes widened at the closeness, only to have Michikatsu placing his hand behind her head and holding her in place.

"I love you a lot, remember that," he added on.

She felt his lips against hers, and [name] could only allow herself to remain in a shock state. She watched as he withdrew from the kiss, a sad smile plastered on his face still as he patted [name] on the head.

"Beautiful," [name] whispered out and felt Kokushibo's hand on her shoulder. She then turned, and her gradient dark blue ocean eyes widened when he leaned in and gave her a peck on the lips.

"You missed, that day," he commented, and [name] couldn't help but allow the blush to deepen as her smile turned wider, for she remembered what he had meant. After all, she pecked him on the jawline that day.

"Here... It's appreciation day as well. Open the letter when it's my graduation day," he whispered out and handed [name] a gift-wrapped box. He then turned and walked away, leaving [name] to have some time alone to herself. He shut the door, and then looked at Sanemi who had on a scowl on his face.

"This better be worth it," he muttered out and Michikatsu nodded in response as he proceeded to leave the hallway, heading up to catch up with his friends to watch the rest of the Sports Carnival.

Sanemi then remained outside the infirmary as he listened to [name]'s crying.

"Why... Why are you still haunting me despite hurting me so much... Why do you still whisper those sweet words to me knowing that I'll be a fool to believe," [name] choked out as she stared at the gift-wrapped box that laid upon her lap.

[name] then stopped crying as she heard the door to the infirmary sliding open. Her dark blue ocean eyes then blinked away the tears as a smile appeared on her face when she watched her childhood friend entering the infirmary.
