"Astrid Claudia Grimaldi, Magna Cum Laude, Master's degree in Architecture." Hearing my name with latin honor is very satisfying. I couldn't believe I am at this state of my life admist of all the struggles I went through.
"Congratulations little sister! I knew you'd make it! Huwag ka munang magaasawa ha?" He kisses my forehead. Inirapan ko lang si Kuya pero niyakap padin. Sapat na sakin to, sa lahat ng nangyari, sobra sobra na 'tong binigay ni Lord.
"Kuya! Pinapaiyak mo naman ako eh! And correction, Architect Astrid please." I chuckled. Feel na feel ko lang kahit hindi pa ko nakakapag board exams!
Seeing my Kuya this happy makes me extra happy as well. Tumatayo siyang tatay at nanay ko at the same time. He gives me all of the attention I need na hindi kayang ibigay ng parents namin.
Looking for my parents? Well, they're still breathing. Somewhere here on Earth. Kailan ba yung huling beses na nakasama ko sila? Last supper? Last Christmas? New year? Birthday?
Hindi ko alam.
I think it has been 2 years since I last saw them. Madalas pinapauwi ako sa Pilipinas just so makaattend ng social gatherings pero who cares? Hindi ko kayang umuwi doon. Ano bang role ko sa mundo? Tanong niyo sa parents namin.

"Lau! Are you done? Make it fast. Mahuhuli na ako sa flight." Nandito na kami sa apartment. After the ceremony dumiretso na kami dito, hindi na nga kami nakapag-celebrate.
"I'm almost there!" I sprayed perfume then I'm done! Mayroon akong pupuntahan na graduation party sa isang rooftop bar malapit sa university. Si Kuya naman, well, he's going home already. Busy sa company.
Busy maging sunod-sunuran ni Mom and Dad. Tss.
Bakit ko ba siya inaasar? I'll go home a day after him though. We will both experience hell.
"Call me if you need any help, got it?"
"Before your flight inotify mo ako at si Secretary Achilles."
"Don't get wasted Astrid Luna. I'm warning you."
"Stay away from boys. No sex!"
"Hush your mouth Oldie!"
Ayan na ang Kuya kong over protective. And what did he say? No sex!? AS IF.
"I'm not joking Claudia! Mahirap na ngayon pag nabuntis ka, hindi papanagutan! After heaven bagsak kana!" Hindi ko na siya narinig dahil sinarado ko na yung pinto. Ganto na ba nangyayari kapag walang jowa? Kawawa naman yung Kuya ko.
"Hello Claudia!"
"Congrats Astrid!
"Architect Lau, come here!"
"Bitch." Tss.
Kakarating ko lang sa venue. As always, andami nanamang humihingi ng atensyon ko. Minsan mahirap na din. Hirap maging maganda.
